  1. As soon as the disk is ejected it will not accept a new disk unless I force it in and manually turn the gears inside. It will not at any point pull the disk in by itself
  2. I've gotten an xbox one and when you try to put a disk in it doesn't register that your trying to put a disk in. If you push the disk in manually, turn the gears inside to lock the disk in place, unplug the console, plug it back in and restart it it will read the disk and install/play games. If you hit the eject button it will eject it like normal. Is this a bad drive or something stupid I'm missing entirely
  3. I just acquired a used Xbox One 1TB and am kinda wondering something. I've had a PS4 for a little over a year and a half and have always come home with a new game, put it in, and was able to immediately play it but maybe without online due to needing an update. But with the xbox I have to sit here and wait for the game to install then it makes me wait for the updates to download before it will even let me play. Only games I've tried so far is Gears of war 4 (99.87GB download for the update), Forza motorsport 5, and COD ghosts. I cant play at all until they are fully installed and completely updated. Is this normal?
  4. It's on my 1TB secondary hard drive. When I get home and get to playing again I'll have to look
  5. It happens inside buildings and outside. Walking inside Michael's house is especially bad. Walking outside it dips down to 50ish normally but it will like stutter and drop extremely low with no warnings. I stopped and turned the camera towards a wall and watched the fps and it dropped and I noticed some screen tearing
  6. Everywhere. It seems to be entirely random
  7. Pc specs: AMD Ryzen 5 1600 ROG strix b350-f 8GB crucial ballistix XFX RX480 8GB Windows 10 64bit Settings are all set to high and the fps sits around 55-60 fps. Randomly it will drop down low 20s even into the teens. MSAA is turned off and did not help.
  8. My dad asked me to look at his xbox 360 slim. he says its having issues reading movie disks and some games have really really slow load times when trying to start the games. is this something drive/lens related? he ran a lens cleaning disk through it about a week ago and had no change. i know very little about the 360s being a playstation/pc guy myself
  9. I may try finding windows 2000 but the system this will be on only has an AMD Duron 700Mhz and 256MB RAM. Im not sure about which GPU as of yet however
  10. So your saying install freedos onto the hard drive then use the usb to move the win 98 install folder onto the hard drive? How would i find the usb drive letter to move the folders over? And i am attempting to do this with SE edition
  11. Im using an old Dell tower just to install win98. Once its on the hdd my plan is to move it to an actual self built win98 tower
  12. Unfortunately i dont have any more cds. I do have win98 se on a cd but its not a bootable cd. I also cant seem to get freedos to read or even acknowledge that it has a cd drive installed
  13. Im attempting to install windows 98 on an older tower and i cant get past the first screen of the setup. Im using freedos to start it and manually starting the windows 98 setup. Freedos starts from the usb and use cd command to navigate to the win98 folder. From there i just run setup.exe and it boots into the windows 98 setup. As soon as the setup starts it gives me an error saying windows requires atleast 16MB of memory. I hit ok and it just sends me back to freedos. Im using an old Dell tower and i only have 512MB Ram installed and im using an old 8GB IDE hard drive. I cannot get past this error. Can anybody help me? Ive inserted how the folders are set up on the flash drive. It was made bootable using Rufus
  14. Ive got a corsair h110i gtx water cooler right now so i think I'm good on cooling. Would have to find a 9590 cheap enough though
  15. Unfortunately i dont have the money for a full blown Ryzen upgrade or i would already be heading that way. Mostly i play games on it but also play around with simple CAD software from time to time
