  1. Ok, so I made a post in the wrong tab and now I can only edit it, not delete it... wut
  2. Hey guys, I just bought a new GTX980Ti to replace my GTX680 and I've been having some issues getting it to work properly. I was running a Win10 pre-release build when I switched, but then both my monitors weren't working. I read somewhere online that NVidia's drivers weren't working with Win10 and the 980Ti just yet, so I reformatted and went back down to Win7. So right now I'm facing a weird problem where my secondary monitor is not being detected by Windows or NVidia Control Panel...sometimes. When I boot up, the motherboard logo shows up on my secondary monitor. The "Starting Windows" screen pops up on my secondary monitor. When Windows actually loads however, it runs on my primary monitor and not my secondary monitor. The "sometimes" bit is occasionally if I switch around the ports the monitor is connected to, sometimes they both work. eg. DP #1 and DVI#1 worked once, but then after my computer went to sleep and was woken again it didn't work. After that DP#1 and DVI#2 meant that only my secondary monitor was working. DP#2 and DVI#2 didn't fix it, but DP#3 and DVI#2 worked until I restarted. Then DP#1 and DVI#1 only showed my primary monitor working, then DP#1 and DVI#2 worked until Windows crashed overnight. [TL;DR, seemingly random combinations of ports work sometimes, but it changes for no reason.] So far I've uninstalled drivers with DDU in safe mode and reinstalled drivers multiple times, and I've reformatted and reinstalled drivers multiple times. Running 353.62 Drivers and Win7 right now.

  4. Dat slimness. Also waterproofness. Also, the minimal name of 'dbrand'.
  5. Normally you do, but this plan comes specifically without one. And it's a $110 extra for some crappy one has the following description Wireless 4 Port ADSL2+ Modem Router Fully featured ADSL2+ modem router Broadcom chipset Wireless N - speeds of up to 300Mbps Two high performance external antennas Four LAN ports for multiple wired connections Advanced wireless security IPv6 support Includes one Filter/Splitter* Not even a model number
  6. Modem/router combo... which would probably just be a modem, right?
  7. Hey guys, Just setting up internet for my new place and I need to get a modem/router to fit it. Not exactly a networking guru so plz go easy on the jargon. Requirments: Cheap (however, am willing to play a fair price if it's worth the investment). Hopefully under $75, so is wireless AC really worth it? Able to cope with 4-5 people LAN parties Able to cope with the amazing Australian internet speeds (advertised up to 20Mbps, so probably more like 10Mbps) Easy to use/set up Strong enough to broadcast through 3 walls (2 bathroom, 1 hallway) Cheers in advance
  8. 120 GB SSD boot drive with a 2TB storage drive. Ggets me the speed I need while still respecting my cheapness. Got about 1TB worth of games thanks to steam summer sales
  9. Maybe try put it in the sun to let the metal expand a bit? EDIT: Just realised your location says you're in Britain, so sun won't be an option. A hairdryer maybe?
  10. Whatever's cheapest
