Looking at a GTX 970. Can't decide weather to go the EVGA FTW or SSC. Both are on special and pretty much the same price once delivered to Australia. Only real difference I can tell about the cards is the SSC has 6+2 power phase, a cooling plate for the VRM, updated I/O, ACX 2.0+ cooler, lower boost clock and overall higher max power drain. The FTW has 4+2 power phase, the old 700 series style I/O, the ACX 2.0 cooler, higher boost clock with less max power drain. Normally the FTW is the more expensive card but the SSC seems like it has more features and the only down side being the lower boost clock and EVGA performance scale marking it at great versus the FTW's extreme. Any input would be appreciated. Also I'm planning on putting it into a Ncase M1 and OC'ing it

Looking for some other Aussies to play comp with. I'm currently Nova 3. I'm fairly new to comp and still learning a lot of the maps and calls. I only have about 20 wins probably 15 at least on Dust 2. I normally play 2 to 4 games a day between 3pm to 9pm Anyone between Silver Elite and MG I will gladly play with. Don't really want to get carried to a level beyond my skills. I'm sick of getting matched with people that lag out, dis-connect or rage quit. Are you asking about the RAM on your video card or the RAM that goes in your motherboard?

I got it to work after making it boot into safe mode and then installing the drivers.

So helping a friend upgrade his GPU and cant get it to boot to windows. The screen just goes black after the BIOS passes. I have updated to the latest BIOS but nothing has helped. Starting to think it might be OS related but not sure. Specs i5 3570 Asrock Z77 Extreme4-m 840 Evo Asus Strix GTX 960 Win 10 Had a GTX 660 perviously

Also lost my GPU and PSU at the same time but the data is what really hurts. Luckily my SSD and CPU survived. I had back ups of all my important stuff on both my drives cause I never thought I'd loose both at once :(

Loosing 4 years worth of data cause a power spike fried both my HDD at once. I want to cry

Bad times. Just fried my PSU, GPU and both my HDDs. Lost all my files :'(

650w should be plenty. Generally when they say it needs a certain amount of power they say a bit more then it actually needs just to be safe.

Yeah I'm not expecting anything overly great just something that sounds ok and doesn't hum or get feedback. I only want it for Teamspeak and in game chat. We don't have Walmart here in Australia. I would like to order one of Amazon or eBay and I don't want to spend more then $30USD because by the time I got it delivered it I would be looking at over $50AUD

Don't buy the cheapest PSU you can either. Read reviews on them from people like JonnyGURU or Tech Power Up
