  1. I am pretty sure that it's coming from the gpu fans, because that whine occurs only when gpu fans are active. As for moving the pc into another room, that maybe doesn't sound like a bad idea, but I don't know if that would be possible.
  2. Hello everyone, this community never fails to amaze me, I am here again, asking for your assistance. I have some problems with the rig I built this august, and one of them is the gpu it seems. I bought an MSI Ventus RTX 2060, it had coil whine, so i RMAed it and got myself an Gigabyte GTX 1660s 3 fans, and it had coil whine again so i said alright, I don't have time for switching another gpu due to school work and such, so i bought an amazing PSU, and that didn't solve the problem, but I have a bigger problem than coil whine, temps and fans. So I have a big problem with the fans and the software of this card. Aorus engine is just utterly bad. Besides that, the fans are constantly revving when I play a game, make some whining noises as well, and I cant set a custom curve with the aorus engine, not even with msi afterburner, it just doesn't react to it. Also, the temps started to be 60 on idle for some reason, about 5 days ago, they just ramp up from 40 to 60 even if doing absolutely nothing. And I am really tired of this. I am constantly encountering problems with a "new" build.. Huh, I guess, 3rd time is a charm. I can maybe RMA the card so that's an option, but there is a big shortage on gpu's in my country so i would probably be able to get an EVGA or an ZOTAC model of this same card. If any of you guys could help me in some way I would be grateful, even a single tip is helpful, thanks.
  3. Dear pc enthusiasts, I have problems with my pc since the last windows install i did. I needed to reinstall windows because ESET broke it and i couldn't do anything. So, a few days ago i reinstall it completely and it works, but i have new issues now. One of them is my pc shutting down but still working than after a few minutes booting, but in that process i can do anything on the pc, i can legit play a game while that thing plays out. The second issue that i have is an issue with 2 games i tried out, Bioshock Infinite in particular. When i open the game around 10 seconds pass and than boom its frozen, my whole system freezes and bugs out. My specs: MOTHERBOARD: B450 Tomahawk MAX GPU: GTX 1660s Gigabyte 3 fans CPU: Ryzen 5 3600 RAM: 2x8gb Patriot Viper Blackout 3600mhz PSU: Be quiet! Straight Power 11 750w GOLD HDD: Toshiba P300 2tb 7200rpm SSD: Adata 256gb CPU COOLER: Hyper 212 BE RGB CASE: Cooler Master Masterbox MB600L Win 10 PRO 64bit version 2004, OS BUILD 19041.508 BIOS version 2.8 I will provide you with event viewer screenshots as well as a photo taken with my phone:
  4. Dear pc enthusiasts, yesterday i had to reinstall windows because ESET broke my last one, and today, with everything working fine, all of the sudden my cpu cooler goes nearly silent for a few minutes and than the noise that can be heard when i power up the pc plays itself, and it has that click, and it goes to "normal". This had never happened before and i really don't have a clue what it could be. It happens sometimes randomly, its like the pc almost shuts its components down, especially noticable on the cpu cooler, and after a few minutes it like boots itself up, but the pc is functioning normally in the meantime. My specs: CPU: Ryzen 5 3600 GPU: GTX 1660 super Gigabyte 3 fans OC MOBO: MSI B450 Tomahawk MAX RAM: Patriot Viper Blackout 2x8gb 3600mhz PSU: Be quiet! Straight Power 11 750w Gold CASE: Cooler Master MB600L HDD: Toshiba P300 2TB SSD: Adata 256gb Every answer and tip is appreciated. Thanks! Edit: I uploaded some images of the event viewer, if this makes sense or helps
  5. Im curious, do you have coil whine? Because im really noise sensitive, and spending a lot of money on a rig and still having it is really a big no no in my book
  6. I cant send the full vid where i show how and why its happening because its 100mb, but i will send an audio recording than coil whine audio
  7. Dear pc enthusiasts, im really really tired and mad about my pc and its stupid problems. One of those is coil whine. I recently built a new rig on july this year to be exact, and my build had problems since day one. The rig s specs are these CPU: RYZEN 5 3600, GPU: Rtx 2060 ventus MSI (Swapped for nVidia GeForce Gtx 1660 Super Gigabyte 3 fan model) , 2x8gb Patriot Viper Blackout ram runnung st 3600 mhz, MSI B450 Tomahawk MAX, Toshiba P300 2tb 7200 RPM, Adata SSD 256gb, Antec NE650M(Swapped today for be quiet straight power 11 750w), Cooler master mb600l case, and the hyper 212 be rgb cpu cooler. I have insane coil whine when i play games, but when i run the stress test for the gpu it isnt so loud, but its constantly there i think. First i swapped the gpu, it was there again. Then after research, and consulting with people who build pcs, we came to the conclusion that it was the PSU, so today i swapped it for a brand new psu, loaded up the Witcher 3, and got disappointed again. I dont really know what to do anymore, is it the GPU again? Im sorry of this post s place doesn't belong here, but i didn't know where else to put it. Any help will be appreciated, thanks.
  8. Wow man, this really helps, iv been looking into some cases recently, and i saw a be quiet pure base 500dx and lian li lancool 2,as for the cooler, i got the rgb one only because there wasn't qny other version of it. As for the coolers go i will also look into them. Than you soo much, if i change something ill keep you updated! Edit: My fan config is only 1 exhaust fan
  9. Nope, i have a cooler master masterbox mb600l
  10. It cools a ryzen 5 3600, and it makes some kind of loud noise, it doesn't sound like air moving.
  11. Hello everyone, i have a hyper 212 rgb be, and its insanely loud. Any recommendations for a silent cpu cooler? Thanks.
