  1. Yep, about a sec. The different psu = the evga psu, in retrospect, idk why I didn't test my original psu but assume that all of the psu tests is tested with the working EVGA. Sorry for the confusion, put the evga one in the parts list as that's the one I am testing so far since I know for sure it works. Yep. Yep. Yep.
  2. Hello, Problem: When powering up the PC, my CPU fan turns on and then quickly off, no other sound or beep. Attempted Troubleshooting: Initially, I reset the cmos and then the problem repeated again. Then, I stripped all the parts out of the PC except the cpu, cpu cooler, mobo, and PSU, but to no avail. Then asked a friend to borrow his PSU assuming my PSU lacked the power delivery hence the flicker, so I created a test bench with the new psu and the cpu, cooler, ram, and gpu, which ended up working. To that conclusion, I put everything back in the case and powered on the system with the same problem, it briefly flicked on and off again. I assumed that maybe the standoffs or the screws could be shorting the mobo, so I put the mobo, cpu, and cpu cooler outside of the case with the PSU remaining inside the case. After that, the same problem repeated and it flicked on and off again. Finally, I created another test bench just in case I have ruined a component, but the PC still boots up and runs. 3. @NelizMastr Did the netsh winsock reset and that worked, tysm!
  4. Just found out that the internet works on a different computer, so it is not the ethernet cable or the wifi extender itself, but the PC. I have no idea how to fix it though :P
  5. Yes, it is. How do I check? EDIT: I read that wrong, the modem is combined with the router.
  6. Hello, I am trying to run an ethernet connection off a wifi extender (this to be exact: https://www.amazon.com/NETGEAR-Wi-Fi-Range-Extender-EX6120/dp/B00R92CL5E/ref=sr_1_4?dchild=1&keywords=netgear%2Bwifi%2Bextender&qid=1606145860&sr=8-4&th=1) and it displays that it is connected, but there is no internet. I tried different ethernet ports, but that didn't help. Any help is appreciated
  7. Starting bids? They're people that 1. Didn't hear about the 3000 series (somehow) 2. Trying to sell it to an uninformed person in order to recoup their purchase, instead of selling for half it's actually worth.
  8. This has probably been recommended already, but building a custom pinball machine would be a cool idea. It would be a little similar to the arcade project, but I don't know if that is technically "tech" related.
  9. I've been using the 2200g for graphics and the cpu. I just got a 1070, and I'm wondering if I need to delete the APU drivers.
  10. Aren't two slot cards coming into the market? I could've sworn that Asus or something leaked one. It's not a founders by any means, but it is still a 3080.
  11. How can a PC component be "rare"? I'm thinking of Pokemon cards and some of their exclusivity, but I don't think a GPU or mobo can be rare.
  12. Just corrected it, thanks. Thanks for this. Is it just a difference between cores and threads?
