It's not going to be a one or two month wait. More like 4 to 6 month to actually see it on store shelves.
With that said, I'd wait. (I actually am waiting)

if you are already thinking about this b4 u put the cpu in...just return everything and use ur backup system, if u opened the stuff, just suck it up and at least see if it boots.

If you already used it I don't think you'd be able to return it, and frankly if you did it's a massively dick move.
5000 series wouldn't really be worth it either, you're probably best off waiting for 6000.
