  1. And well, it does not even have the options i need to modify the ammount of vram, red does work on 580 but does not have the option either
  2. You should definitivley at least change the OS to the 7200rpm disk and use the 1.5tb as storage, there ir no need to have the larger disk as your windows disk, just point your games to download to the other one, music, videos everything send to the slow one exept programs you use often if you want them to open fast, just make a cristal disk mark on the 7200 and see the difference, obviously it would be best to get an ssd but... see if the other hdd's speed is enough of a bump.
  3. I have seen it but at least in the available tabs i see nothing about vram ammount, just vram clocks and timings and voltages
  4. What games cause this, any game? It sounds like a voltage problem, I had my psw workig fine on any and every game i played even super demanding ones like warzone at 4k or m flight sim, but the first time i opened the medium and changed the settings to max (most) my pc just kept dying, even if i capped the fps to 60, it seems it was running at 58 with my 3070 so capping it at 60 did not help because it was so maxed out it was drawing so much voltage and delivering less than the capped fps that only capping it to 30 with rts before oppening the game let me get in to modify the settings i changed last time that made it die, and yes, my psu is waaay lower than it should be but i don't play demanding games often, but a 3090 with an 850 seems quite enough, altho the.combo of that and the cpu could potentially trigger a overcurrent protection, 3080 and 90 are known to draw spikes of vtage waaaay higher than what they use average, do you have an other psu to test? like, even if it is just to put the cpu with one psu (the lesser one you have) and the gpu on the other?
  5. So, long story short, i have an rx 580 4gb and i used a tool and diagnosed that 2 chips where bad out of 8 (A0 and A1), removed them (before removing them the card was showing as "Generic display adapter" or something and would crash the pc to BSOD with an error something like a thread got stuck on a device driver) and after removing them both now I can boot to windows (using an other gpu or integrated gpu to get video) to see that the gpu is actually detected now and installed the default basic driver to show up as the 580 in device manager. Also, gpuz recognizes everything fine but, clocks show 0mhz, memory shows 0mb and on device manager it has the yellow triangle saying windows disabled that device because it encountered a problem (code 43 i think) and so, I believe this is because the bios thinks and reports the gpu has 4gb and when the driver or windows or whatever looks for them numbers don't add up and windows goes like woah, hold on... so, i was wondering if there was a way to modify the bios to report 3gb or modify the driver before it installs to work with only 3gb. This is just my cheap way of getting this card working without having to buy both chips but I don't know much about amd drivers or amd bios modification.
  6. Also in a related note, with the old drivers, I can not use the 960m to play games despite chosing it over hd graphics in nvidia control panel, and I read that this happens when a couple of services are stopped, but I don't even have those services listed in my services list. What the heck is going on.
  7. But why would I need the intel HD graphics drivers to solve my nvidia drivers issues? My intel drivers are up do date those have no problems, what I need is to be able to update to the most recent nvidia drivers my 960m
  8. Hello, I bought this chinese laptop, brand ENZ and I can not install the updated drivers from nvidia... Here is a detailed explanation of the video that I am posting on youtube about the issue. https://youtu.be/YsX6M442ox8 In the video first you can appreciate how I try to update the drivers from geforce experience, it does not work, then i go to nvidia's website and try downloading the latest driver for my device which is a gtx 960m on windows 10 64 bit, I try to install it, it does not work, then I try to modify a file for it to recognize my graphics card, and it does recognize it and starts the installation but it fails anyway, and I tried all this in safemode too but it is not shown on the video... Then there are no updates from windows update for my card unless I uninstall them in safemode with DDU, and suddenly, the menu of nvidia, the nvidia control panel is gone, when I start a game no matter if I select use nvidia gpu on the nvidia control panel when it WAS there, you can see that it is using the integrated intel graphics, it never uses the dedicated 960m graphics, and now, the 960m display adapter option is gone after attempting to update the drivers from geforce experience or via the nvidia's website, only after a restart windows update will install very OLD drivers that don't let me play some games and those that I can play play very bad because they do not have optimized drivers. And that is my issue, I do have nvidia's drivers, I do can install and use geforce experience, but the drivers are like SUPER old, and I can not upgrade them to have a little better perfomance on the newest games like fortnite that I plan on playing on this laptop, I don't plan to play Rainbow Six Siege but is is the only game I own that shows the gpu that is being used. And even when the drivers are working, when I mark the option to prefer the nvidia gpu it still uses the integrated graphics... I as far as I know have tried EVERYTHING.
  9. The best thing i find about this phone (being stuck on an iPhone 4s for 3 years now) is the screen resolution, i read a lot of text and on a screen so small is really hard but the size of the screen itself makes it really hard. I see no problems with the Lg G3 on that aspect. Also, the expandable memory makes it abig selling point to me, being able to change the cards any time to put different apps or music is incredible, and the slim bezel, looks so sexy. Finally, the most important aspect to me is the 4k capablities on the video camera, I am dying to try that, even my Sony RX100 camera which costed me $600 can't do it. So yeah, i pretty much loved the phone.

  11. I would want to win this to replace my iPhone 4s, Things i care? BATTERY LIFE! Doesngt matter if your phone can make popcorn or chill a beer if it lasts only 5 mins in use... BATTERY LIFE is the most important thing these days and the M8 has it. Also would like to try the speakers on it. and a 1080p screen.
