  1. The thing that confuses me is the fact that I installed Win 10 on this machine about 2 years ago and up until now, there were no errors with CCC or the AMD drivers for that matter. This BSOD occurred out of the blue. Guess no switchable graphics for me
  2. Hello So I recently ran into a problem, with AMD's catalyst control center, where my laptop Bluescreen's if I try to open CCC. The same also happens when I try to set my Switchable graphics to "High Performance" in Windows Power Options. When the laptop restarts, the display drivers are broken, and the screen runs at 1024x768. I reinstalled drivers multiple times, both AMD and Intel igp, since my laptop has switchable graphics. The Intel Drivers install correctly and have no problem. The AMD ones sometimes do, sometimes don't (Even after installing they break when I try to open CCC and/or set switchable graphics to high perf.). I know this is not really much of a problem, but most games straightaway decline to run if the Switchable graphics aren't set to High Performance. I thought of installing the standalone drivers for my GPU, but without CCC there are no switchable graphics and I anyways can't enable high performance. Its been a long day of troubleshooting and I am very tired, hence pardon me for my broken english or incomplete provided info. Specs: Core i3 2350m Intel 3000 + Radeon HD 6630m 4gb RAM Windows 10, 64 bit Thanks for your help in Advance. PS: The error code for the BSOD is atikmdag.sys or kernel_mode_heap_corruption

  4. What keyboard do you use? And also a value to the input lag in ms would be great.
  5. Umm I don't think 120GB is enough for ANY gaming rig nowadays. That is, unless you already have a high-capacity hard drive from your previous build.
  6. Hey Guys so I was browsing on Pewdiepie's Social Blade Page and he seems to have lost about 293M views on the 5th of August and another 74M views 3 days after that. Any idea on why this may have happened? I think it's probably similar to the reason that Linus was discussing on a recent episode of the WAN show about creators deleting their videos to protect their channels from strikedowns especially after what happened to Jenna Marbles and Shane Dawson. 7. What country do you live in? You could try pcpartpicker.com, on the top-right corner just change your country and you'd be good to go
  8. It would be really helpful if we knew what is your budget, tho if you're running an hp compaq in 2020, even the cheapest products would be an upgrade(No offence).
  9. I think I have a Core 2 Duo E4700 along with 2*1GB sticks of ddr2 ram. I'll send the photos in a while as I am busy atm.
  10. Feel free to correct me, but i am pretty sure waiting until big navi, ampere and zen3 should actually be much better. Even if you won't need the extra performance, the price drop for even existing parts will be welcome.
  11. I am pretty sure the stock cooler comes with a little bit of thermal paste preapplied. However if you screw up the mount on the first try (Trust me, i have), you will probably need extra thermal paste.
  12. For low settings, this is a solid rig for 720 high to 1080 low settings. Have a good time building! (Honestly I am feeling like those guys in call centres I don't know why I typed the last sentence)
  13. 83C is a little too much for stock speeds. SInce you bought this second hand and don't know the parts, I have a feeling you haven't reapplied thermal paste. Thermal paste tends to dry and should be reapplied every 5-6 years at least. also check if you cooler has come a little lose from all the vibration over the years.
