MarkCRO got a reaction from da na in Palit RTX3090 GamingPro GPU users, warning and question
I am writing this to warn all users of Palit RTX3090 graphic cards if VRAM Tj temperatures are around 105 C, DO NOT open that card to remove pads if you dont have 0.75 mm soft pads around, not an 0.2 over that thicknes of 0.75 it is that sensitive when assembling back.

All temps are on overclocked GPU, closed case and  intense gaming

I had to open 6 times to set it right only with 1mm very soft pad, at first, then there is diferent thicknest pads inside, 1mm, 1.5mm and i think 3mm.
    I have managed to lower VRAM from 106 c to 95 c
BUT GPU was on 89c with MX-5 paste ( it is not the paste fault or assembling )
Tried with other 1 mm pads and GPU was overheating....
Opened again and again then decided to compress softer pads from 1mm to 0.8 rough, after that VRAM is on 95 max and GPU is on 77 max my question is this good temperature for RTX3090?
A was frustrated for 2 days...

If card has rock solid stable 105 c and fans not ramping DO NOT open card let it run, change backplate pads, mine was like sand.
