  1. Yes. Fortunately there seems to be only 2 of them when I looked at the schematic diagram
  2. Its a component very similar to a coil or choke. You could try to replace it however that may not solve the issue. Its marked R33
  3. Okay. I'm sorry to break it to you but a friend had a similar issue and it turned out to be a failed Inductor. There is usually no way to fix it without deep knowledge about electronics
  4. @Calebdm97So, any luck? Did anything change??
  5. My god is this difficult to set up. I got myself a new printer (HP Smart Tank Plus 555) It's the worst thing ever! It has been 2 hours and I still can't get it connected to my home WiFi network! The shittiest design choice I have ever seen is that instead of using the display it has, it prints everything on paper. Not only that, its using the ultra premium option too! Atleast I think as I can see the ink going down with every page. And it keeps wanting to print even more stuff which is adverts telling you about all the smart features! If I want to know them, I will look them up. Why print them and waste paper? I'm obviously gonna keep it forever (sarcastic)

Never going with HP ever again! I should get a laser printer instead

  6. I always wondered, why is Celeron and Pentium different that the Core series? Like why can't it be like the Core series eg 10800F or something? It's always so confusing with Celeron and Pentium
  7. After a light drop of my Flex 2-14, it will no longer want to boot from any USB devices. (My cat knocked it down) It was all working fine before the drop. Now all I get is a black screen and then it reboots to the internal SSD. What could be causing the issue? I tried multiple USB ports but no luck. Funny enough all the ports seem to be working inside Windows.
  8. I'm from the UK aka tea with milk and crumpets
  9. Lol I completely forgot we got chromebooks handed out about 4 years ago. I got the HP Chromebook 13 but there was a choice of a Samsung 11 inch one and a 14 inch Acer too.

Sadly I forgot the password to it so its useless, maybe I will try powerwashing it at a later date

  10. Finally finished moving servers, tired as hell. Now all that remains are my test PCs, laptops and my random garbage.

  11. Yes, my motherboard and a GTX 970. I didn't know they could do so much damage. Now I pretty much avoid anything that isnt 80 plus
  12. Yay, I found out I'm moving offices at work! No longer have to share an office with a bunch of people. But there's gonna be a hella lot of stuff to move, including my 4 servers (2U) and they are very heavy.

  13. A cheap $14 "750W" PSU. I didn't know at the time that those cheap PSUs aren't regulated and fried my motherboard. It happened in 2014
  14. Yes, its a pressure switch that has to be closed to activate the switch, and therefore activate the battery power to the system.
  15. EDIT: Its the screws next to the little battery icon that matter the most
  16. So that indicates that the charging port thankfully isn't broken. When it was disassembled, did you put back all the screws including the center ones? I heard there is a switch that cuts off power if the back isnt secured.
  17. And if I were to install LOS 18, would I need to flash a custom recovery first?
  18. I'm no expert with laptops but does the charge LED still light up with the charger in place? If of course it has a charge LED
  19. I only had to RMA something 2 times Once it was a Dell XPS 17 something (2 years ago) Process went smoothly but had to force the process out of them And the other time it was with my Galaxy S10e, it had damaged in shipping and the OLED display was shattered, they were all polite and Samsung apologized for the issue and sent the replacement and it arrived in 4 days
  20. So here's my explanation of why I want to go back to 'stock'. I never got to experience CyanogenMod 11 on the OPO as I got the device used 2 years after launch because I never made it to the whole invitation system and by the time I got the phone, it was already updated to Android 6. I have very good experience with Ubuntu, will that work for the flashing process?
  21. So I currently have Android 6 on my OPO but for experimental purposes, I want to revert it to Android 4.4. Is this possible? It says something about ADB but I have very little experience with that. Can someone help out?
  22. Update on my car:

The parts have been ordered and the car might be with me again by next tuesday

    Which is a good thing

  23. I come home to see my cat (Meowster) sleeping on the floor next to my Lenovo Flex 2-14. The glass is cracked so I'm assuming he knocked it off the table

Whoops! But I feel it was my fault for not putting it away
