Hey guys, I am building a PC for a friend and I thought I would consult the LTT community for guidance. His budget is 1400$-1600$ INCLUDING THE MONITOR and he will playing games such as Arma (both two and three, plus DayZ) CS:GO and some other games yet to be decided. This is his first gaming PC so I want it to work flawlessly (no compatibility issues) right after building. I think he'd like and SSD but If we can't work it into the budget it is ok. Also need a keyboard and mouse, no matter how crappy. Thanks guys!

Hey Guys thanks for checking out my post. My specs are i7 4790k GTX 780 4k Monitor (This mught be usefult to know asi think it may be sucking in all of my ram) 16gb corsair vengeance ram 1600 mhz Gigabyte G1. Sniper Mobo 860 Watt PSU So, my problems are this, I am here typing on linustechtips.com as this is the only tab open. My memory is at 15 gb usage out of 15.9 gb. I have nothing else open and nothing is pulling in over 100mbs on Task Manager. Also My cpu tends to ramp up and down from 30% all the way up to 100% every minute or two. Thanks for the help guys

Hey guys i just got my new audio technica ath-ad 700xs. I plugged them in and cant recieve any sound. When i unplug my Mic, The USB Blue Yeti, everything works fine.. I need a fix quick. Thanks guys!

Can i just wipe the ssd from within the OS so i do not have to deal with reinstalling windows all over again? I only have 1 SSD, So i can't move my games to another location...

Hey LTT community i just received a new i7 4790k, z97i-plus mobo from asus, and a 250d case from corsair. I am coming from a z77 i5 2500 to a z97 i7, so can i just switch my ssd into the new computer, or should I wipe my ssd and start over again? Thanks!

Do you have another windows computer anywhere? doesnt need to be anything special.... With the rampage black edition there is a usb flashback port on the back.. http://event.asus.com/2012/mb/usb_bios_flashback_guide/ this will show you how to use it..

Are titans even available o newegg anymore anyways? I think they have transfered to titan z and titan black since the regular titan has been discontinued
