Any Ford truck owners on here? Have had good luck with mine in my own little fleet of cars.

Three years ago I had gotten a free F250 was told it had blown motor (it didn't) and cost me way less than having another car payment)

Ended up being the PO molested the wiring in the engine bay, ended up just replacing it all, of course going through the basics when dealing with a car that has set for so long, motor wasn't even seized when I tried turning it by hand. After cleaning the tank and lines and went to start it, (Lost first startup in 15years of this thing on my old icloud but I could probably recover it.) Imo, fuel system didn't even need to be cleaned out. Like all truck owners the their always on E.

New breaks, radiator, lines, overflow tank, and cap (known to be faulty on older Fords.) Trans fluid is still a nice bright red, oil cooler and powersteering cooler are both fine for what I do. Other than installing a trailer break controller, and needing to freshen up the interior. It shouldn't have been this easy to get it running. Really reliable truck for me considering it sat for so long. Got it w/140k miles on it and last month it hit 210k.

Also just used a bit of polish to brighten up the black again.

Pretty much just use this truck as a hauler/car transporter, used to be my daily but now economy wise to and from work I'd spend about 10 bucks in gas a day

Not true at all. Used parts is an amazing thing. Dont talk out of your ass. The reason most of the Scrapyard wars dont work well is because they are using $300 bottom barrel parts usually.

You simply have to pay attention and know what to look for, and if you do that buying used parts saves you tons of money. PC Parts that are taken care of are VERY hard to kill.
