there's a difference between something that happened very long ago and something that's recent. I believe that it's somewhat recent. Besides, teens use reddit. I know of multiple subreddits that are devoted to teens, and that are invite only as a result. To have someone who might misuse their power (potentially unknown to others) for a sexual reason is, well it's hopefully concerning. It also comes to another point of, why keep someone problematic? If people are dissatisfied, and the employee isn't special in any way (the person in question doesn't seem as such), get someone else.

I haven't gone through the thread, so if I say something that's already been said, dunc are. Discord has got a new CFO recently, a Mr Tomasz Marcinkowski. In a smoll interview over at blog.discord.com, he seemed very passionate about Discord. It's interesting to note that he previously worked at Pinterest as their CFO. The only important thing to know about that is, Pinterest went public in 2019, when Tom was their CFO. All of that's to say, it doesn't seem likely that this sale will go through. Rather I think Discord will go public in the next year (or a few years). It does seem like they're building out their executive directors board, so it wouldn't be much of a surprise. Tomasz said specifically It sounds like he wants to build Discord around that central goal, rather than compromise on it. I don't know if selling to Microsoft is seen as comprising to him. Discord also reported a revenue of 100m in 2020 I'm pretty sure. Fiscally, it wouldn't make sense to sell. I really hope that they don't sell to Microsoft tho. That would be literal hell.

typically it's more of a competitive draw/raffle, like what @cbigfootsaid. this is pretty much only a draw/raffle cuz I think spec wanted to get rid of left over prizes. if you meet the minimum requirements you are eligible for all prizes
