Isn't floatplane just an early access? Does it also have behind the scenes and other perks?

I saw the initial LTT video about the broken iMac. Then I saw the WAN show episode that mentioned it. Are there any other videos out, or are there any updates?

So there is a product that I'd like to order for Christmas, I'm in Europe so the shipping is about a week, 2 at most but the product is Temporarily out of stock. What does this mean? How long can a product be in this state? Who should I contact, Amazon or the manufacturer? I apologise if the questions are silly, I'm a newbie to Amazon.

There are XLR to USB cables like this but they struggle with power delivery so I figured maybe USB-C brought some change since it can charge laptops now and crazy stuff. I guess not yet. Also there is the Blue icicle but I guess I could by a USB-C cable for that.

It would be convenient for my MacBook and theoretically, it can provide sufficient power. However, I can't seem to find a single one on Amazon. Does such a cable exist? If so can someone link me to it? Or if it doesn't is there a simple explanation?

Hi everyone, So I decided, that I need a new laptop around $700. I would be using it mostly for taking notes and doing light work like excel, pp, word, photoshop etc. I won't be gaming on it so gpu isn't a priority. Fast storage and a decent cpu is what I'm looking for. Bonus for usb-c. What are your recommendations?

Hi everyone, I have repurposed my machine to a storage machine and so I have turned off all the fans except for the GPU fans. There is a BIOS limit at 20%~900RPM and this wouldn't bother my normally at night it is pretty loud, 3 fans at 900RPM. I have saved the BIOS and modified it and than used nvflash to update to the modified BIOS. Now in the bios the min fan speed is 0 but MSI Afterburner still can't go below 20. Is jt possible to change the min fan speed, is there something I'm missing?

Hi, So I noticed that my wired ethernet connection isn't working and my PC is using wireless connection instead. I tried multiple cables but it doesn't fix the problem. How can I troubleshoot if the connector itself is broken on the motherboard? (The router is fine too.)

Ok, so in short: Games: if it can handle Disk: NO USB: YES Apps: YES, if the developer supports it correct?

Does the PS4 pro support 4K? I know that the marketing is around 4K and I know that sometimes games are run on lower res for better performance. But what about other media: built in apps like Youtube or if I want to watch something from a disk or USB. Do these applications support 4K? So if I load a 4K movie on a disk or USB will it be displayed in 4K native or does the PlayStation pro do some "magic" with it? Also, Youtube supports 4K in a browser, does that apply to the console?

So if I purchase an audiobook do I get to read along so do I get a text file as well or no? Just because I travel a lot and I get sick when I'm reading in a vehicle so I would rather listen to it but if I have to go back for quick reference reading is much faster. I use iBooks but I'm interested hoe Amazon does it.

So I want to buy a new motherboard since I reached the limits of the current one. I have an i7-4770s CPU so I need LGA 1150 socket. (I don't think I need a new CPU) My budget is tricky because I live in Hungary and the prices are different here but let's say its 120USD (+-20%) I am a software engineer so I am looking for features like: TPM header for encryption lots of USB ports on the IO for multiple keyboards and peripherals like the LEAP Motion few usb3.0 headers inside the case since I'm running a triple boot machine (Win, OSX, Linux) and I have a boot device, wifi and Bluetooth dongle that I want to put inside the case I don't care about features like: Overclocking 8 RAM slots Overkill performance Stuff that are welcome but are like whatever: Intel IPT Intel Vpro
