Looking for some suggestions for my new build with a 2600X and a 1660 super .
  3. Your best bet would be to go for a cheap am4 motherboard and a ryzen cpu, also 8 gb of ram will be plenty
  4. gtx 1660 super would likely be the best way to go, a good value card
  5. Yeah the 2600 is an excellent gaming cpu ! for the price
  6. Also it’s quite cheap currently in the uk which is good for my budget and I was looking at a b365 board as it would allow me to look at upgrading the cpu in the future.
  7. No but I’ve reviewed all the options and I need it to be brand new and the 9100f has better single threaded performance that the 3rd gen Ryzen counter part
  8. Hi everyone, looking for recommendations to go into my budget build with an i3-9100f
  9. Honestly was thinking the i3 due to the stronger single core performance aswell
  10. I’m building a budget PC for someone else mostly gaming orientated. Just looking to get a second opinion. i3-9100f or Ryzen 3 3200G?
  11. For the frame skipping you could use ufo test- https://www.testufo.com/frameskipping
  12. Yeah go ahead and try over locking your current monitor, I highly doubt it will damage your current monitor and it’s quite easy to do !
  13. Yeah sounds like you just got lucky! but no point going for the 1660 when the price difference to a super is small and you can just oc a super
  14. My bad ? typing on my phone! yeah the 1660 super it is similar price to the 1660 but used gddr6 memory instead of ggr5
  15. As your current card is only 3gb on modern titles you would likely see a large increase. But I would go for the 1660 super over the 1669
  16. Anyway, I can’t see inside the case but the board is mATX, it would most likely fit in that case.
  17. I’ve picked up a Brand new gtx 1650 ventus oc edition for £100, what do you all think?
  18. If you don’t have a budget then you might aswell go for a 2080ti ?
