    I built a z97 system last year using the Asrock z97 fatality mobo and it hasnt missed a beat.I just built my own 6700k Skylake build just recently and used the Asrock z170 Extreme 7+ and it runs like a dream . I would highly recommend Asrock.

    I had a Corsair 860i go on me as well. It went with a pop and a small flash. Returned it to the vendor I bought it from and about 3 weeks later I had a new 860i. See how this one goes.

    I had the same problem about a month ago. Rolled back to driver 344.75 and no more crashes. Go to Nvidias website and fill out your info, gpu series windows 32/64 bit etc ,then look underneath and see beta and older drivers, click on that link and find driver 344.75 and download that. After installation hopefully everything will be ok.

    I have trawled through Steam support and different other forums and what seems to be interesting is its Nvidia cards having the biggest problems. Maybe part of your problem could be that your running SLI 980s as we are only running 1 GPU and having problems,but I really think its more of a software issue rather than hardware. You have a pretty impressive list of quality components.

    We have been having the same problems but with CS GO. The screen goes black and in my case the Titan fan ramped up to 100%. Re-installed the latest Nvidia drivers, that fixed it for a while then had to roll back to an older driver. That seems to be working so far but for how long who knows. I have a Corsair 860i and I'm having the same issues as you. I've run furmark and looped Unigine valley for a few hours on both but the Titan wouldn't replicate what it does in CS GO. Also kept a check on temps and they don't go over 60-65C in the game.

    I used this method to copy my Windows 7 onto a USB drive , have used it about 3 times now without a glitch. Linus takes you through each step and It works ( Thanks Linus by the way). The only other things I can think of make sure that the ssd is connected to sata port 0 or sata port 1 and as Volbet has suggested make sure the ssd and the USB drive is formatted correctly. That is crucial.

    What brand and model of motherboard and what brand and size of your ssd ?

    Definitely Nvidia driver problem. Happened to my Titan black where the screen goes black and the card fan went to 100%. Uninstalled /re-installed latest driver and that fixed the problem. If that doesn't work try rolling back to an older driver.

    You are provided with 3 different sets of standoffs.The black ones are for AMD ,the silver ones that have a shorter and course thread are for 2011 and the other silver standoffs with the finer thread that are equal in length on both sides are the LGA 115X.Those are the ones you use

    Any of those USB headers will work. I just installed the H80i and thats where I connected the Corsair Link USB Plug
