    I know, but he's quite stubborn and tech illiterate. Higher number means better right? 😂
    I'm running a i7 4790K and I can multitask a game, 20 chrome tabs, spotify and discord no problem, i cant even comprehend a midrange i5 or i3 where excel would struggle. I don't think he realises the actual workload of my father, and just uses tech terms to cause confusion. I mainly made this post to (hopefully) change my fathers mind instead of having him waste his money

    Mangrovius got a reaction from seban in Brothers pc will not display to a monitor, but his laptop does it without problem to the same monitor (HDMI to VGA)   
    I know you need an active adapter to make it work, because I have the same solution as well. He has one built into the cable. Furthermore, his laptop, with the same cable (so HDMI from his laptop to VGA to his screen, DOES work.
