  1. I just use them more at home. Also I'm not a huge fan of over-ear headphones in public
  2. Thanks, I'm on Android so I'll probably go with the xm3.
  3. Already have a pair of those. I keep them at home though
  4. Fast boot was indeed the issue. Thanks for the hint
  5. Thanks I'll give those a try. Unfortunately I don't have much of a choice as I use Kali for my cybersecurity classes.
  6. I'm currently dual booting Windows and Kali Linux on my desktop (both on NVME ssds). It is set to default to Windows but when I let it boot normally I just get an error screen (attached). If I manually select the os in bios it boots fine. I'm not really sure what the issue is.
  7. I'm looking to get some noise-cancelling true wireless earbuds before this semester of uni. Does anyone know how these compare as far as sound quality goes?
  8. Starting today 3DMark refuses to read my system info and thus says my scores are invalid. Not sure what would cause this. The setting is enabled in the menu.
  9. I had overclocked my Titan X (Pascal) to the point that power was the limiting factor, +227 on the core and + 700 on memory. After a crash running Time Spy Extreme my system refused to launch 3D applications properly. I re-installed nvidia's drivers and everything launches fine. Could this be due to the gpu OC or is it more likely caused by an unstable CPU OC? CPU is a 9900K @ 5.2ghz, 1.344v
  10. On a custom loop with a 360mm rad it maxes out at 67c on non AVX workloads, 73 for AVX.
  11. 2 hours of Asus realbench. The avx offset is 4.8.
  12. Check the manufacturer's website for the drivers. That is fairly normal for a new GPU sometimes
  13. I just started overclocking my new 9900K, so far it's stable at 5.0ghz on all cores at 1.225v. Is this normal for this chip? What can they usually hit without exotic cooling?
  14. I just got two tubes from an official retailer. They look the same.
  15. The Asus Strix Z390 has a 4+2 power phase which I know isn't ideal, but would I run into any issues if I'm not pushing crazy overclocks? It has a vrm heatsink fan if vrm temps become an issue. Is anyone currently running these two together?
