  1. Gaming is what I use it for. Ive put and ssd in it and it has a gt 610m 2gb as well. But that display.....It strangles my eyes. thanks for recommending though.
  2. So my Asus K55VD only has a 2.4Ghz Qualcomm Atheros mini pcie Wifi card in it and I was wanting a single band 5Ghz only card but I can't seem to find any on amazon. Help before the slow wifi card kills me. ow
  3. Thanks for considering the random performance ill have a look at those drives.
  4. So my ASUS K55VD is only rocking a 240gb ssd and its fast and all but I was wondering what is the absolute fastest laptop size ssd I could put in it No matter the price or capacity Just raw read and write speed. And no don't recommend a new gaming laptop I love my junky hardware. Thx
  5. I already have a external Nvidia Titan plugged into where the wifi chip lived and now use a usb wifi dongle. So gaming is Decent I just wanted to completely max the thing out. Plus I couldn't use a desktop being I like to game on the go or in weird comphy places. also I already have a 2tb ssd in the thing with a pin equivalent 1440p screen diy'ed into the lid.
  6. are there any XE chips i could try? or any overclockable ones?
  7. So My k55vd has an intel core i7 3630qm and it's a good cpu already but was wondering is there a better socket g2 cpu for gaming? So if anyone knows what is the best of the best for that socket is then please let me know. Money and cooling are not of concern for me. Cough cough liquid metal and a blowie.

  10. they will just assume its user damage or modification it's happened to some of the kids here
  11. ha but us students must pay for it after the 3rd repair and mine has had 3 repairs.
  12. So just last period my school assigned dell chromebook 11 P22T began getting very hot very very hot. I then began experiencing thermal throttling and then the whole thing just froze and kept getting hotter and hotter until i held refresh and power. But here's the confusing part all that was open was language live and amazon. Note nothing was covering the passive exhaust or intake. and the system has little to no dust. Pls help the repair for damage at school is like more than the thing is worth. This is not the touch model or the glossy bezel.
  13. U should make a drink chiller from some fans and use the heatsink as a coaster i tried it and it works ok.  But being LTT has higher end stuff then I do You could possibly make a sub zero drink chiller for when your gaming get too hot and intense.

Linus is so cool that technically he could make a drink chiller just by blowing on it.

@Matthew J Johnson dude I can't believe there's someone else in here with megumin as the pfp

  14. Wait wait wait... Ltt should do a fire hazard build. example fermi, 5gz FX, but here's the challenge hehehe. No case fans and you have to use the stock cooling solutions, You can use Liquid metal, any fans as long they are not in or touching any part of the PC. Good luck MUAHAHAHAHA
