  1. So yeah, I super new to linux, like 3 days really, and I have a big local music collection. Is there a program like foobar2000 for linux? Also I quite new to the the ltt forum community and any forum community for that matter, so I'm sorry if I break some rule.
  2. Micro USB port I don't know if we can meme on this board, but "Yeah that going to be a no for me dawg..."
  3. That's good news for AMD but the important question is whether they're making money or not. It's all good and dandy that your market share is growing, but if you are not making money in the process that's not a good sign. AMD is not a fucking humongous corporation that can bank roll for 5 years straight just to kill the competition. Nvidia may be "losing" (I put that in quotes because in my opinion that's debatable) market share, but they are making truck loads of money, and they can use that money to grow and advance. I have high hopes for AMD, but being a little bit cynical from time to time never killed anyone.
  4. It's not sarcasm! I always thought you need something like a startup manager 3d party program to do that kind of stuff. I really appreciate it. Thanks once again.
  5. Aesthetics dude... They are more expensive not because they work better, but because they look awesome. There a lot of metal on them. To a lot of people that's hella important.
  6. Welp, guess it's great then! Good! I'm a complete noob to this whole storage solutions type of stuff. I know absolutely jack s*** about SSD's, with the exception that they are normally faster than those "normal' HDD that spin. Yeah... Anyway, thank you guys a lot!
  7. He bought it without asking me for advice, which in turn I would ask you guys for advice. So is it any good? I mean we a truly casual users so yeah. I mean should we ask for a refund and get something else? We want a ssd and this seemed to be one of the cheapest where we live (Brazil). So what do you guys think? Should we keep it?
  8. Please provide a donotlink.com URL. This is obviously clickbait and should be treated as such. Let's not drive traffic to them. http://www.donotlink.com/bcs2
  9. I never had a good experience with AMD. The cards that I owned ran way to hot, and they both fried/stopped working. This is purely anecdotal, but I can't bring myself to buy AMD again. I don't know how it is nowadays. And at the end of the day the green cards are like $100-200 more, it's really not that much.
  10. I read an article not to long ago, when the whole NSA think happened, and he explained the alternatives for most of Google's services. From there I got Firefox (I knew Firefox of course, I just didn't use it) and duckduckgo.com. I have never used Gmail. Of course I still use Youtube and Android because there is no actual alternative. I really like duckduckgo.com, and if it fails me, all I have to do is put a !g at the end of it and it will search on Google. Firefox is just as good/bad as Chrome... Chrome used to be very fast, now it is just as bloated as any other browser...
  11. Changed the key layout on my Quickstrike TK. It has been a couple weeks and I think it's getting better, but the first few days were actually painful. The frustration level was off the charts. It's still slow as hell, like 25 wpm slow, but at least I don't search for the letters.
  12. Yes, I understand that. I have a ASUS VG248QE, but for now there's no reason for me to switch from my IPS panel monitor. My GTX760 doesn't have a display port.
  13. I tried playing Dota 2 many times. Every time I was complete overwhelmed by the UI and the mechanics. It's far to newbie unfriendly for my taste. I never played the original Dota, so that's probably the reason. Yeah... I play a lot of LoL though, love the game.
