  1. Eh, with how skylake works, really anything. Just make sure the final frequency on the RAM and iGPU (or turn this off, might as well) isn't above stock. Jump right in and start around 110 Mhz
  2. Yes, the fans he linked in the original post, lol
  3. If you can, try BCLK overclocking it, should produce the same end result if you properly adjust the chip. (Turn down Ram and iGPU stock frequencies)
  4. Silencios are great fans for Static pressure. DO IT!
  5. Strep Throat is absolutely the pits. At least the Penicillin is helping some.

  6. Might as well. If you're not gonna upgrade, it is free speed, if you are, then there's no worries about killing it. buy a cheap cooler and make that baby sing!
  7. wait, why would you call Corsair about an EK part?
  8. possibly, but you'd run into that issue no matter how you install windows. grab some drivers and put it on a flash drive
  9. yep, it basically installs over itself. makes the PC act brand new. I use it all the time when my friends dick over their installs with bloat and issues.
  10. just look in your PC for "Reset this PC" Run it, then select "Remove all files" It'll be a brand new PC
  11. Does one run on 1.5V, the other at 1.65V, or both at 1.65V or both at 1.5V?
  12. Still in use today, the GPU was Overclocked, but the CPU never was. It's been running for a few years.
  13. as a rule, that is a bad idea and the PSU isn't made to deal with that... on a personal note, it is much safer than what I did (Cut an old 24 pin to fit a 760 and used a blow torch and pipe solder to solder it.) If my stupid solution works, your can too. (That pc runs an i7 2600 and a GTX 760)
  14. does it stay that low in game?
  15. It's not bad. can't get it to work with my controller though, and it isn't exactly great to play on a keyboard
  16. It's $1.49.... YOINK
  17. FlatOut 2 was my favorite game on PS2... guess I'm gonna find that today!
  18. Plague Inc is up there for sure... Democracy 3 I could play for hours as a time waster... Civilization 3 is still the best Civ game, IMHO... And if I've got quite a bit of time, Cities Skylines!
  19. Honestly, a Solid State Drive is a MUST for modern computers... It just so happens that one of those would go perfectly in a small form factor computer I'm getting parts for!
  20. Quality wise? Mine came with 2 dead pixels, both within an inch of the side of the panel, so they can't even hardly be seen. at this resolution and on up, even on a plain white background, it looks more like a spec of dust on the screen than a dead pixel. Color reproduction is excellent, depending on which mode you have it set in. Menus are... there. Not bad to get around in though. Honestly, the deciding factor between the PB258 and U2515 was that the PB has real buttons, but the U2515 only has capacative ones.
  21. I have the PB258Q, fun fact though, the ASUS and the Dell use the same panel. they're *Basically* the same monitor, from different companies. Super gorgeous panel at any rate. Don't expect to Overclock it at all though, won't even take 61Hz
