  1. Then controller was 100, nand 88. Meshify 2 case, 3x140 intake, 2x140 exhaust all running at 500 rpm, gpu fans running at 800rpm, 990 was in M2_1 thats under the D15S, 970 was in the bottom slot. Teach me what should I do to cut the temperature in half like you say.
  2. You get slower speeds because the SSD goes through the chipset. Here's mine going directly to the cpu: You sure? Both my 990 Pro and 970 Evo Plus ran a 100 degree celsius when I installed or updated games with Steam and 70C when playing games, no heatsink installed.
  3. The prices already went up by at least 20% since October. Prices are converted from my currency to Euro, drives are 2TB, prices are captured on these dates 2022.12 -> 2023.08 -> 2023.12 990 Pro - 350€ -> 150€ -> 185€ 970 Evo Plus - 250€ -> 105€ -> 185€ SN850X - 320€ -> 145€ -> 180€ SN770 - 235€ -> 105€ -> 130€ KC3000 - 275€ -> 115€ -> 155€ NV2 - 145€ -> 75€ -> 118€
  4. I recently got a Samsung 990 Pro 2TB, IOPS was 1.4 mil yesterday after fresh Windows install but it was hitting 94-97°C. I put a heatsink on it and installed my programs and games, but now it won't even hit 500k in Samsung Magician.
  5. Arent all PSU's made by either Seasonic or SuperFlower and others just slap they label on it?
  6. Why are you buying a 10 years old PSU? Or rather why is your friend selling it to you, does he hate you?
  7. The only use for multi gpu for gaming is to run Nvidia DLSS3 Frame Generation and AMD AFMF at the same time in Cyberpunk
  8. I got similar mail from noreply@steampowered.com saying to reset my password(link goes to https://help.steampowered.com//en/wizard/HelpWithLogin) if it wasnt me(it was me btw)
  9. Are those Apacer AS2280Q4, Lexar NM790, Patriot VIPER VP4300 Lite, Verbatim Vi7000G any good? I know that Verbatim was very good when I bought floppy disks and CDs
  10. Yeah, they are made by Helly. But I would buy turd disguised as chocolate as long it has a Seasonic logo on it!
  11. That CX is most likely the CV rebrand
  12. E cores are Cinebench accelerators, you want P cores if you just game unless youre into breaking records and ocing
  13. So the OS, PSU and CPU seems to be good, all that's left is the ram and gpu. But just in case I would replace the PSU since only bombs have the power throttle feature.
  14. AMD Unboxed could get 240Fps avarage on Fortnight, but you need a better cpu for 1% lows.
  15. What if memory context restore gives bsod?
  16. That's a really big crack. Even the small ones seems to affect multiple layers.
  17. I asked my friend Duckduckgo and he said the pinouts are totally different on the PSU side. https://pc-mods.com/blogs/psu-pinout-repository/evga-psu-supernova-cables-pinout https://pc-mods.com/blogs/psu-pinout-repository/seasonic-focus-sgx-cables-pinout
  18. the heart of your system. Other brands only buy from OEMs and put their branding on it.
  19. From what I see, Sata SSD's are not much cheaper, cheapest 2TB is Lexar NQ100 for 33610FT and the NM620 is 36490Ft. Prices gone up a lot lately, Team Group MP33 2TB was 26000Ft 2 months ago.
  20. https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?threads/b650-tomahawk-ssd-not-recognized-after-bios-update-7d75v1a.390745/ Go back to previous bios or wait for MSI to fix it.
  21. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HzQeTYqelM4 https://www.techpowerup.com/forums/threads/what-is-going-on-with-the-ryzen-5-3600-3600x-line-of-cpus.294408/ My Samsung 870 EVO 1TB SSD and WD Red Plus 4TB HDD died, I wouldn't say they are the cheapest models and the 870 had 127days power on time with 2.12TB writes(it was game drive). AMD would never do that! They aren't Intel! That 40-60 euro that the extra 3year warranty would cost, isn't helping much with these expensive board that just go up! I got my X370 mother in 2017 for 120euro, now the B650 costs more.
  22. Wasn't the problematic FW on 980 Pro one of the very first ones? But I see one dude here and there mentioning low IOPS with 990 Pro, but they don't provide much or any info.
  23. Isn't it 3 years default? My current cpu is failing after 3years, my ssd and hdd failed after a bit over 1year. This would defeat the AM5 socket longevity that everyone praises.
