While there are edge cases of it occurring with a decent quality extender there shouldn't be a huge worry. As for good options you want to always get shielded PCI-E extension, some examples below are some that I would recommended.

PCIe4 certified riser cables do not exist yet, and don't hold your breath for them. However, if it's just a GPU relocation you're going for, none of the current video cards that even support PCIe4 see any advantage from it over PCIe3.

your 1080 tis don't work with pcie 4.0, the cables will work, but to be safe, you can set it in bios for the PCIe slots to run at pcie 3.0 instead of 4.0

Kleofash reacted to spiffles in Case has 12 fan slots, I want to fill them all. What do I need? (Thinking Corsair)
Ok, so I'll be getting rid of my stock Redragon fans, but I want a system of 12 fans in my chassis, as it supports that many.  The Corsair LL120 RGBs (please suggest a better model if there is one!). My question is: what exactly do I need to be able to plug them all in and have full functionality? I know taht Corsair fans need separate plugs for the fan power and for the RGB power. I also know Corsair produces lots of different hubs, managers etc. So what would I need in order to support 12 RGB fans in synchronization with the minimal number of plugs to the mainboard? Could someone give me precise instructions here? Thanks!

Hello, just setting up my new PC and have a thought I am not sure on.
I have 6 Corsair LL120 RGB fans + the H100i RGB twin fan cooler.
If I run the 6 through the Corsair Commander PRO RGB hub, will I still be able to sync the radiator fans by plugging them in directly to the motherboard?

The MoBo is an Asus Prime x570-PRO.
If not, does anyone know of any RGB Hubs that can accommodate 8 Fans and supports iCue?
