  1. I have owned a pair of wireless Logitech G930 headphones and they were awesome. Designed for gaming in mind? Yes, but they didn't sacrifice sound quality. Switched to corded Sennheiser a few months back. I really can't say that I had a bad listening experience with Logitech. Battery didn't last very long though.... Are you sure you want to go wireless? Charging them up was a real inconvenience for me.
  2. But that is just your story, and this is exactly the type of gamble dealing with a hackintosh. Some people are just destined to have it much worse, like laptops or AMD processor builds. But some people will have 100% support because their components are really popular with the hackintosh community. Both sides exist. Hackintoshing for me was a pain because I have an unpopular LGA2011 motherboard which isn't impossible it just made things rather difficult.
  3. Every time there is an update, even a slightest hotfix from Apple, there is a small chance that your entire setup is going to crash and all data will be lost. You just need to live with that risk if you want to use a hackintosh.
  4. wow that background music is a total miss, should have been something not designed to be played at a Mormon family camping trip
  5. if you can get over the controls its good. Obviously dated game by now but still good.
  6. SOMA is a game from Frictional Games, the creators of Amnesia, which you played. Much more story oriented but if you play it long enough it can send chills up your spine easily.
  7. That could be great with friends! Just for watching movies or multiplayer/co-op games.
  8. Get an external HDD if you don't already have one. They help a lot.
  9. Uni here, but a lot of people already suggested your best course of education so I'm not going to be of any use if I just say the same but let me ask you this: Why? Microprocessor architect is extremely specific. Are you fond of such complex designs?
  10. A lot of people suggested me a Windows tablet seeing as I'm facing the same problem myself. Lots of them come with one year free Office subscription and remain speedy if you don't install much on them (and given the limited storage some have, they will always be pretty fast). Now, screen size comes to play. The 8 inch tablets are really nice for some simple one-handed work and paired with a Bluetooth keyboard you can take notes on the cheap. Some 10 inch tablets already come with a keyboard like the Acer One 10. They're a bit pricier but a couple of them can pull out 8+ hours of battery life on moderate use. That's a lot of note taking. I think I'll go with the 10 inch tablets because I also need to do programming in some of my classes. The keyboard is really helpful.
  11. Ooh look at that keyboard! Winning it would be great. Typing on this old keyboard is slowly becoming a problem. Thanks!
  12. That's what I was thinking but I really needed a second opinion - thanks. I do believe that it would work without the legs (maybe put those tank caterpillar tracks) It would be amazing if some sort of construction engineer provided some input but that's not gonna happen
  13. Okay let me ask something here. Let's forget about the cost and the purpose; is this possible to build in real life with today's technology? Will it actually work and function like the robot model? That would be amazing - not because it's going to be useful but because humankind is actually capable of constructing such complex (and terrifying) machinery
  14. Did you guys consider a Tesla battery wall? Or are they not available yet? Too expensive maybe? Was it much more profitable to get that man-sized battery?
