  1. The guy wanted an $80 deposit before I even saw the card, so I will not to be doing that lol. Thanks for your input though. Ill look at upgrading my CPU first. Not sure if I want to stick with intel and my current mobo or go ahead and switch to AMD. Ill do some googling
  2. Oh its still limiting? I had not considered a CPU upgrade, what would you suggest? I have not done any CPU research lately. I like playing a lot of online multiplayer shooters like PUBG, Warzone, Destiny 2, Planet Side 2 and Tarkov. I play some other games like Ark Survival, borderlands 3, etc. The games I would like to most improve FPS on would be the competitive shoots like Call of Duty and Tarkov.
  3. My mistake, I have upgraded my CPU to a 6700k a few years ago and forgot to update my signature
  4. Hi guys, I currently have an old GTX 970 and it runs most games I want it to okay, but when I want to play newer games like Warzone or Red Dead Redemption I have to turn down to low or medium settings to get decent FPS. I have been wanting to upgrade for a while, but then 2020 happened. I am unsure about the future of the GPU market, but I have a feeling prices are steadily going to rise. I found an ROG Strix 1660 Super for $325 ($5 under MSRP) on Craigslist near me and I was hoping someone could give me any insight on if that is worth it or not? According to benchmarks the Super is about %40 better than the 970, so it would definitely be an improvement, but do you think it is worth it in the current market? Should I keep holding out? Any comments or insight is appreciated. Thanks, Keith
  5. You make a good point. Its just the first thing I tried. It may well be something else
  6. Hi all, I am sure this isn't the first time this has happened. I updated to the latest Nvidia drivers this week and instantly noticed a decrease in performance. My screen was noticeably blurry and went from getting 150+ fps to barely getting 30. I googled around and tried out these older legacy drivers and it fixed the issues: https://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/96079/en-us If you have a 970 you might want to try this out. Hope this helps someone!
  7. Just got a 7970! Love it!!!

  8. No I am not trying to crossfire, they do have two 7970's for sale. But I don't have the cash. And I would have to get a new power supply. I was asking about just one.
  9. Hey guys. I currently have a 7870 and I found a 7970 for $150 on Craigslist near me. It was used for mining for a couple months and that is all. It still runs and everything. So my question is: Is it worth it for me to get this card? Thanks! Tech
  10. So two cannibals are walking along and they see a nice fresh dead guy. #1 cannibal says: "You start on the head and ill start at the feet and we'll meet in the middle". After a while cannibal #2 asks:"Hows it going down there?" cannibal#2 replies:"Great! I'm having a ball!" cannibal#2:"Woah there slow down!"
  11. Awesome giveaway!!! Thank you so much! And my favorite part of this build is the Kuhler 1250.
  12. Ok. Thanks. I figured air coolers would be better due to smaller failure rates, but I was hoping for a quieter case using a water cooler.
  13. Hey guys! I currently have a Hyper 212 Evo on my FX-6300 and its overclocked to 4.2ghz nicely. And I've got an extra 80$ this month just to blow. So I just found a brand new never opened Corsair H105 Extreme on Craigslist for $70USD. So I have two questions: should I get it? And will it fit in my Corsair Vengeance C70? Thanks! Tech
