People tried it and so far zero outcome. The last digits of hexcode identifying the gpu core is burned in the die itself, so no matter of tweaking the bios works. at most it stops working showing an errorcode for unknown hardware.

Check "Hacking Nvidia's Drivers!" forum post, that has extensive works on this card and similar hardware.

In my case I mostly play DOTA 2 CS:GO Warframe and now a days Valorant. Valorant ran flawlessly on my p106-100. For the other titles I had to disable internal igpu from device manager to get the p106 as a high performance gpu as my 2600k's igpu doesnt support native low power gpu selection due to no driver support. Then all games will get like 10ish fps unless I set the game as borderless windowed. So any games without borderless window mode is a bust or you will need DXVK for linux dlls to run that game via vulkan. All dx9,10,11 games ran very good in my case. OGL has native support so those games will work too. Some vulkan games i.e. DOTA 2 fails to render more than 10 fps for some weird reasons, so some vulkan games wont be playable. If you dont miss playing dx 12 based games and get that card dirt cheap then its kinda good for now. But for users below 4th gen we are limited to W10 version 1903. updating always breaks it. So consider these.

Petitions don't accomplish shit let alone when there are few people behind them. Our best bet is Linus making a video about it calling out Nvidia on this.

These cards have nvenc disabled so use cpu to capture or a capture card. I face the same problem. Although I can stream to discord just fine nothing else works well. Don't know why. Maybe someone with knowledge on how discord streams may help us.
sth = Something. And look at your SS(screenshot). Your SS shows DCH driver in the driver section of GPUz while ours (me and B1g_chungus2) is vanilla 417.22. There are 2 types of this driver and you are on DCH type. download the non-DCH one and check what happens. DCH one was problematic for me.

Thanks for replying. Yes i did set for high performance each time ive changed the drivers. Its weird cause valorant itself does run and i can enter a training match. It ran on fhd on max settings pretty nicely. But every time i try to enter some match, the game runs for a few minutes and crashes. I'm testing using deathmatches and usually it crashes after my first death. It says "out of memory error". GtaV also run for a few minutes and crashes. From what i saw yesterday, at least on gta, its the intel graphics card that is crashing. On device manager, it says the device was stopped because it had problems. The game also  says something about d3dl dll error. I'm not sure why the setup is working on some games and crashing on others. Ive read something about asus motherboards and etc. I guess it may be some incompatibility with my system idk. I read something about VT-d on someones post and i enable it on my bios. I'll also try an older intel driver to see how it goes.

Update: after a clean w10 1709 install, 417.22, regedit adaptertype 2 to 4 and enablemshybrid 0 to 1, it seems to be working nicely.

So, after reading almost this entire thread I ran across an article that mentioned a new feature in the Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 20190 (and beyond) that allowed you to specifically select which GPU you wanted to use to run an application. I have a 3rd Gen i5-3570k, so the hacks to get the P106 to show up as the High Performance GPU wouldn't work for me, and I had zero interest in the Windowed Mode tricks that others had suggested (especially since I was running Windows 10).

I was already a Windows Insider, so I signed in and changed my channel to 'Dev', and allowed Windows to update. Sure enough, the feature worked exactly as I'd hoped! Of course I'm still limited to 417.22, still had to do the registry hacks, and still have to manually select (one time) the GPU for every single game (sometimes multiple .exe's for Benchmarking tools like 3DMark 11), and I believe I'm still limited to DX11 (3DMark would crash when it tried to run Time Spy). I'm also limited to PCI 1.1 x4, which seems to be seriously hampering performance (my 1050 Ti easily outperforms it in every benchmark I've run).

But it's working, in full screen, on a 3rd gen i5 on nearly everything I throw at it

Unfortunately because of the performance deficit, I'll likely end up selling it since my 1050 Ti outperforms it. I picked up both cards at $75 each, and was going to sell the 1050 Ti if the P106 performed like the 1060. I don't understand how Linus was able to match the performance of their stock 1060.

Side notes: I'm running this on a very old install of Windows 10, and I noticed one person say that with a clean install, they were able to boost performance significantly, so I'll try that. I also think someone's post said something about being able to use 'any' driver version if they installed it through the Device Manager and manually selected a 1060, instead of using nVidia's installer, so I'll give that a shot as well.

Last, but not least, I was pretty disappointed in how many comments there were from people who clearly had not done their due diligence of reading through the thread to try and resolve their issues. Some of them were so common they seemed like they popped up on every page. If you're one of those people you're probably not reading my post either, and good riddance. If you can't even spend time to first troubleshoot your own issues before asking for help, you don't deserve a cheap 1060 anyway.

MUCH thanks to all of those who have helped solve all of the issues with these cards up until now. It has been an immense help.

I shall do that as soon as I can. At the moment I have the card removed from my PC as the fan bearings were going causing it to vibrate and emit a very annoying noise. I've ordered a replacement fan, as soon as it comes I'll get it installed and put the card back in my PC and run those tests for you.

The performance seems good, I can play The Outer Worlds at 1920x1200 with high settings and Vsync enabled (60Hz monitor) and it seems nice and smooth. I've only just managed to complete that game, so I haven't played much else, No Man's Sky runs well too, but I've not played it for more than an hour or so.

@Shibly Thank you! I was able to get a P106-100 card working on a virtualized Win10 1909 system with your instructions.  Installed 417.23 drivers, edited the registry, disabled and re-enabled adapter, game on!

    Thank you!

I think this process will be limited to my specs as I have 3rd Gen i5 3330s processor paired GTX 1050 Ti but got it WORKING

Installed Intel HD graphics - 15.33.51.5146 (Latest for 3rd Gen Processor)
    Installed 417.22 (Downloaded from Guru3D) - GTX 1050Ti

Was not able to find any Registry entries -
    Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\Class\{4d36e968-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}

So I manually created "EnableMshybrid" entry and set the value to below
Case 1 (FAIL) : Set value = 1 -- It enables hybrid GPU options in Nvidia control panel but GPU doesn't show in Windows display property.
Case 2 (Success) : Set value = 2  -- Nvidia control panel doesn't launches but Windows display property shows Nvidia as Power saving GPU.

Once I set the game to use Power Saving GPU (Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti) games works like a charm even in fullscreen mode.

I took little help from below video -

@cgexe the f in your cpu name means it lacks an igpu. without that you can't make the card work.

i saw the 1050 and 1030 cards in your system. you could try passthrough with kvm and linux, but its vary difficult. i think theres a guide how to do that somewhere. i've never successfully done it tho.

You will be locked to DX 11 gameplay below 4th gen intel. DX12 just doesn't work below 4th gen intel.

no, dx 12 needs atleast hd 4600. below 4600, it is not a matter of cpu rather igpu. those igpu dont support dx 12 passthrough.

FOR COD there are 2 options:
    1. Ignore the driver warning and run the game as it is on 417.22.
    2. Install the latest driver, revert back to 417.22 to run the game.

some games work on 2nd gen just disbale on board and the p106 should show as high peromance and games need to be run in window boardless to work i have a i5 2320 system and dx 11  games work but not dx 12 pop os works with new drivers but never used linux soc ant help u there

Install all required drivers including vanilla 417.22 driver for nvidia and intel. Restart.
Apply registry hack to enable directx for p106-100. Restart.
Open device manager and disable the intel igpu driver.
. Go to start and open Graphics setting and add game exe as like haswell or newer gen processors but the difference is you select the only available p106-100 as High performance card.
Run the game. The game will be very slow but it will run.
Go to graphics settings and make it borderless window. as long as it is in fullscreen mode it will not be able to use the card properly.

As far as I know, This works with new apus. You better not go for the non apu route (although some ppl may run this headless) setting that up is too much of an hassle. so apu is a must.

    Hello,
COD Warzone keeps giving me 5759 error I also tried paging size for windows but no luck.
    My specs:
    i3-6100
    12 GB ram DDR4
    Windows 10 Pro
    Nvidia p106-100 417.22
    Intel HD 530

    EDIT:
Got it to work by changing AdapterType to 4
and EnableMsHybrid to 0 and adding the game to the High Performance.
Hope it works out for you too guys.

Try to use TuxClocker or GreenWithEnvy.
x4 = catastrophic lack of bandwith capacity due to low number of PCIE lines
PCIE 1.1 x16 = PCIE 3.0 x4 (this slightly limits the video card performance, around 10 percent)
    PCIE 1.1 x4 = PCIE 3.0 x1
