Wow, um... Today I was at the Apple Store looking at some stuff, and I overheard the rep saying "This MacBook has a 2.4 processor that can go up to 3.1!" I also saw a kid type in "funny fails" into the search box within the settings program.

Try resetting your BIOS, there should be a button on the motherboard to do so, or you could just unplug the computer and pull out the CMOS battery with a screwdriver and let it sit for 5 minutes.
