  1. That's a lot of money for just the motherboard
  2. either the 2600k or the 3770k, there's not much difference between the two
  3. I'd actually keep the 1600x, until it's not enough for you anymore
  4. If you can afford the i9 budget you could buy the Ryzen 9 3900x, if not still the ryzen 7 3700x is on a platform that will have the next ryzen generation too
  5. dude out of the bunch the 1050 ti is the worst by a long shot, if it isn't like 80-90 pounds used
  6. Get the Crucial BX500 or higher rather than getting that garbage ssd, my brother had it and kept freezing
  7. For a 1660 definitely not, that's higher than the price of a 1660 ti
  8. In my opinion if it's an old psu it has the possibility of dying on you
  9. Are you sure that is a case? That looks massive
  10. the 3700x should be much faster than both, but idk if it'd be worth it to pay that much for what you're doing. Honestly the best price/performance ratio for an 8 core is definitely the 2700
  11. You can set up a MacOS virtual machine pretty easily (even if i didn't get it to install the tools needed to optimize the virtual machine, dk if it's a common problem or just mine). Either way just follow a youtube tutorial
  12. It'd be like upgrading from a 1070ti to something close to a 1080ti (but not quite at the same level), you decide whether it's worth it or not
  13. you paid 500 for an old slow dual core? Dude you've been scammed hard. 500 is probably the price for a modern aspire, which would be a million times faster
  14. A slow laptop will never become a fast laptop, the only thing you can do is not tax it at all
