Higher temp is definitely not good, but since 8750H is a hot chip, you're lucky to get away without any throttling while CPU is under load
    undervolt
Try lowering turbo boost ratio limits to let's say, 37 (3.7GHz).

Can you monitor the CPU power consumption while in game?
I'm not sure whether max fan feature is included in G7 7588 or not

That's normal for 8750H. Aida64 is quite intensive, try Cinebench

Nope, every chip is different. Some even can only do -50mv

You undervolted too much on iGPU. Also, if you have Speedshift enabled, set performance modes to 0-16 and battery/power saving mode to something bigger (eg 180). If you don't want too much hassle then turn it off

My suggestion is don't undervolt iGPU first. Set core and cache to same values

Would seem the reality behind the "blockbuster game" Anthem is finally revealed.

    Good video by Joe:
Lengthy Article detailing it's conception to retail that Joe refers to: https://kotaku.com/how-biowares-anthem-went-wrong-1833731964

Rather glad i never paid any more than a passing interest in it. Game would apparently be 6 years in PRE-PRODUCTION and had 1.5 years tops to make and finalise the game..... jeeeez. Feel sorry for everyone that snapped this up without a thought.... slightly.

All 3 of the laptops you mentioned have their issues.

The XPS has some strange driver issues as you said, but those can and will be patched in the coming future. I had an XPS, wasn't a fan of the build quality. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't confidence inspiring having it in my backpack.

The Zenbook has thermal issues, touch-pad issues, and other strange anomalies in the design that make it unworthy of anybodies purchase.

The X1 Extreme has issues with simple inconsistencies. For some reason, lord knows what, lenovo decided to have multiple OEM's for the Trackpad and Keyboard, which leads to some very non-satisfactory experiences if you dont get a good set. I've seen people try 4 different models at random and not get a good keyboard/trackpad combo. I am a thinkpad guy at heart, but cannot recommend the X1 extreme.

Though, being a thinkpad guy I am going to recommend another thinkpad! The X280, to be exact
