  1. That's the thing it's so slow it's impossible to back up anything.
  2. I can't start windows without the hard drive. I don't know how somehow windows is spread across the two drives. I have a Samsung Evo I forgot which one and a really hard disk which I will check its name later. Edit: also task manager is reporting that the hard drive is used 100% nonstop.
  3. So after turning on my pc I realized it was super slow. I have an m.2 ssd and an old hard drive when I checked This PC, it loaded for 5 minutes, I saw that while my SSD is fine my HDD is raw and doesn't work. I tried to reinstall windows while keeping my files and after 7 tries and 20 hours it said it couldn't determine if I have enough space. When I use disk part in cmd all drives show as online and 0 b free space. Any help will be appreciated.
  4. I connected my SATA SSD to my pc and now I can backup my data flawlessly thank you.
  5. I am trying to backup my laptop's files. Since the last Windows 10 update it broke and is in infinite boot loop. I've tried any solution to fix it, so I've given up on fixing the boot loop and rather focusing on the restoration of files. I already tried from notepad.exe to transfer them to a USB drive but I can't access appdata so my Minecraft screenshots, maps and mods can't be backup-ed this way. Any solutions as to how to backup my files without being able to boot to windows? (I hope this is the correct forum)
  6. I agree with you. But for some reason. My water cooling fans don't care about the temperature but rather about the CPU load even when my CPU temperature is 40 degrees, starting minecraft ramps my fans a lot because the new version of minecraft uses 100% CPU usage to load. (even though i have a 6 core 4.7ghz processor)
  7. No, XD! I though you meant the cables I use to connect the video card to the power supply. My monitor is Alienware and I use an hdmi cable that came with the monitor to connect it to the video card (and not the motherboard! Of course.) The monitor is running in 240Hz 1080P and it has been running like that fine since i got the video card.
  8. Totally forgot about that! You are right.
  9. The cables I use came with my Seasonic power supply 700W 80 platinium I think. It's brand new I bought it a month ago. Also since the error happens once every time I use the PC then it's probably software.
  10. Switching to water cooling is still as loud as air cooling, probably even louder because of the pump. I don't know a lot about Ryzen processors but I heard they tend to get really hot so I don't recommend tuning the fan down. But if you think you could you can use the fan's software to make it spin slower during high usage, but that would give you performance lost. My fans on the watercooling system also get loud when I am rendering a video so it's probably normal and not a big deal.
  11. I did it when it was released but it didn't fix the issue. I'm guessing there is something else wrong with my PC. Maybe a hardware issue.
  12. Sorry for being late but my brand is MSI Gaming Z Edit: Driver version s now 441.66 but I still have the issue.
  13. So uhhh. Since I updated my drivers with Geforce Experience my screen goes black for a second or two once every time I start my PC during a random time. Even when I am not using my PC. Anyone got the same problem or solution? Or am I an idiot for posting this here and not on Nvidia's forums?
