  1. You sold it, he upgraded it, not your problem.
  2. If Mediatek released their sourecode for custom ROMs I would have no issues buying a phone with one of their chips. Until that happens I am only buying Qualcomm powered phones
  3. Whats another 2 years, you've been waiting almost a decade by the specs of your computer! (just pull the pin now and upgrade)
  4. OnePlus 7 Pro and my desktop pc i guess
  5. You could also spend $45 dollars and buy 10+ sim tray replacements, that will probably last you the lifetime of the phone.
  6. mate, i don't mean to be rude but a replacement sim tray will cost you literally $4 on aliexpress or similar. What exactly do expect to gain from taking them to court? You won't even be able to "take them to court", best bet would be to quote the CGA to the retailer and waste even more of your time. https://www.aliexpress.com/wholesale?catId=0&initiative_id=SB_20190724004745&origin=y&SearchText=LG+G6+Sim+tray&switch_new_app=y

  11. Firefox updates don't usually require a reboot, just a restart of Firefox. Strange.

  14. Australia spent somewhere in the ballpark of $300 million dollars on the centenary. Australia seems to have this weird misconception that ANZAC is exclusively about Australian nationhood, its bizarre, they forget about what the NZ stands for in ANZAC.
  15. Hey, I have been offered a spare monitor which is going unused, I have two already, one via DVI the other via an HDMI-DVI adapter. The third one would have to use a display port but the monitor in question has only VGA and HDMI. I've seen a lot of stuff about active/passive displayport adapters and I see that it appears to be an issue with AMD graphics cards, but I am not planning on using eyefinity I just want the monitor as another screen for productivity. Would this adapter be suitable? https://www.mightyape.co.nz/product/20cm-8Ware-Mini-Display-Port-to-HDMI-Cable/21014633 The video card I am using is an HD7870 Ghz.Ed.with 2x mini DP, 1x HDMI 1x DVI Thanks
  16. Most of the powersaving features are only available in Windows so that is the main reason why battery life isn't as good.
  17. Enjoy, also pretty sure they hosted wikileaks at some point in time.
  18. FF13-2 is shaping up to be a much better port than FF13.
  19. Just thought I'd post to let you know that SE is releasing a patch in December to add higher resolutions and graphics options for FF 13, and the FF13-2 release in December looks to be a much better port.

  21. Is it normal for college students to be kept in a class? At my university its up to the student to decide when they turn up or leave (excluding tests, etc). When you finish a lab session you are free to go, they even encourage you to leave if you are done.
  22. Why not do some study for your other papers?
