    If you have a mudroom then that means you have a laundry room with a back door. I do not want cat poop with laundry. My house doesn't have a hallway. If you have a spare room then you're an anomaly and you don't have much to say cause you're cat probably has their own door in the mudroom.

    If you could get enough ram in there it would crash as soon as it runs into a need for an instruction set that it does not have. Athlon xp can install window 7 but not with 3 gigs of ram. Put that in later. If you launch too big of a program it will reset. No fun. Can't even run a silly userbenchmark.exe

    Try to spring for the 1660. You'll be much happier, and 50s don't have good resale value. Ive got a gtx 645 in an old phenom 2 x4 955 rig i haven't decommissioned yet, and i wish i went for the 60 years back. I would have probably used it longer and my current setup would have been better. Timing on tech is everything.

    You think that makes no sense? Try the first thing being SATA II. Rx 580 is still a great budget card. I don't believe anyone is using these super computers to their full potential anyways. Except for Google chrome.

    That sounds like an awesome pc still. no reason to upgrade yet. The bottleneck that people will tell you your experiencing will be laughable. 16gb is plenty. When i run cs:go it uses at least 8gb in danger zone now. The way people are talking you might want a radeon ray card over an rtx right now. The nvidia stuff seems to be made cheap for the current 20 series generation. If you want good budget get an rx580 with alot of vram.

    A 1650 super better be better than a 1060. The only problem is the 1060 has more ram, and newer games, and their updates want more dedicated video ram. They're also both gtx. You want rtx if you're buying now. Unless you call it a budget rig. Then slap in whatever. The new jungle level on csgo is heavy on the gpu.

    Sounds like it was a bad build. I find myself doing more rebuilds of those core 2 duo/quads than any work I've ever done for pc maintenance. If those can still hang after an ssd, ram, and gpu upgrade. Sometimes even new cases. Then tech is truly stagnant. Pentium 4 would be laughable at this point. I guess its hard throwing away an almost 3ghz quad core with 12mb cache 1333mhz fsb. They did make alot of junky ones though.

    You will not find a worthy replacement for that 4790k yet. I have a 4771, and i will use it till it dies. I know devil's canyon paired with the right motherboard can do more than 1600mhz on ddr3. Get at least 16gb of ram. 32gb if the mobo can do it. Look up Corsair dominator. Upgrade your cooler if it would give you a better overclock. Update your bios and get a ray tracing gpu with more than 4gb. Do you have an ssd? That's whats going to give you your speed.
