  1. Haven’t seen a good Andy video in a long while. Did he leave LTT or something?
  2. LOL. I’d forgotten about Strongbad. Thank you for this!
  3. You know the Navy doesn’t have cobras, right?
  4. Probably. Every time I hear someone pronounce it “jif” I cringe a little. I really feel Steve Wilhite was just pranking us when he said that.
  5. It’s “gif” not “jif”
  6. New Egg has my new processor on sale. What do you think, should I jump on it or wait for the price to drop a bit more?
  7. Agreed. It’s actually the opposite of a Monopoly, and a good way for Apple to save money and increase their own flexibility in the design and production phases. I don’t think it will actually result in lower prices to consumers, but it may reduce the price increases. Logically speaking, it was a good move on Apple’s part.
  8. This is very true. Plus, buying Intel’s modem division will give them a good starting point. I think it’ll be rough at first, but they’ll get it down within one iPhone generation. They might even put the modem on the SOC die, which would save room in the device and increase efficiency.
  9. Summary Apple has started designing it’s own 5G modems. They bought Intel’s modem manufacturing, then ditched Intel processors, and now they’re looking to get rid of Qualcomm. I guess they’re tired of paying licensing fees. Quotes My thoughts It looks like they’re trying to get into making all of their own chips, possibly to avoid licensing fees, and certainly to increase profits. Who knows, if this works out, they might even start selling chips to other manufacturers. Probably not, though. In retrospect, I think they’ll just use it to quash Right to Repair. 10. This popped up in my Google newsfeed. I think it would make an interesting how-to/should you video. Tom’s Hardware - How to Install Windows 10 on a Raspberry Pi 4B
  11. So, if I buy a MOBO that supports Thunderbolt 3 I still need to buy an add on PCIE card and I still can’t connect it to the case front panel? That’s lame...
  12. I am getting parts together to build a new gaming/streaming rig when AMD 4000 comes out. The case that I'm looking at says that it has a front USB Type C connector that I want to use, but it doesn't specify if it's Gen.1 or Gen.2. If I plug it into the Thunderbolt header on my MOBO will it give me Thunderbolt 3 speed, or should I find a case that I know has a Gen.2 plug?
  13. I play my switch on a 65 inch high-def TV and don’t notice it at all. Most games that I play aren’t designed to look very realistic anyway, so the blockiness (is that even a word) isn’t very noticeable to me. I’ve never seen it flicker.
  14. Can you do something with the PS4 second screen app? I know it has some ability to control your PS4, so maybe it can help.
  15. So, it seems that some players of Call off Duty are so tired of PC Gamers using cheats and exploits that they’ve decided they’d rather spend extra time in the lobby than play with people on PCs. I don’t usually play CoD, but my kid does, so I’m wondering, have you tried this? Does it make the game play laggy because you end up playing with people further away? https://www.eurogamer.net/amp/2020-04-18-call-of-duty-warzone-console-players-are-turning-off-crossplay-to-escape-pc-cheaters
