  1. Here you go mate. http://squarespace.com/?channel=podcast&subchannel=linus&source=linus
  2. There are other factors than just the MHz. And I was only talking about this for the OP's price point.
  3. Everything looks solid here. Only thing I would do is switch out the Kingston RAM for G.Skill's. Will perform a tad better, and looks better IMO.
  4. As long as you are being SAFE about it and not trying to go to the extremes, it won't matter much. With a good overclock your PC can go easy 5+ Years. I figure, after 4-5 years, you won't care. You'll want to upgrade well before then anyways.
  5. Yeah bud, that's the wrong CPU to try to overclock.. You won't get anywhere note-worthy. You might be able to give it such a slight nudge that you'll never even notice though. On top of that, you would need a new CPU Cooler. The stock cooler won't do you any good for overclocking.
  6. Oh wow, thank you very much for this! Although, I own Asylum, City, Origins & Blackgate already. This is one of my newly-favorite game series.. The battle system is pure.. Love.
  7. Personally, I say go with the RM750. It's 80+ Gold, Modular, and by Corsair, who make solid as hell PSUs (and everything else for that matter) http://www.amazon.com/Corsair-80PLUS-Gold-Certified-Power-Supply/dp/B00EB7UITQ/ref=sr_1_4?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1398371412&sr=1-4&keywords=ax760 Right now it's on sale on Amazon for $119, which if you look through, is the same exact price as the RM650. Definitely a good deal. If you want to spend less, go with the CX750M.
  8. More details would help mate. At what stage is it crashing? Are you getting an error? Code? What specs is your PC? What OS are you running? Can you take a screenshot to help?
  9. Find a custom one you like.. Again, this is your opinion bro! Don't you want to feel like you created this all by yourself? I gave you the foundation, now go build a house! But, I always use Arial Black (Bold) as it looks very aggressive, and can be passed for Tech-Like.
  10. As you've probably noticed, the answer here is: Dual GTX 780's in SLI. You don't need more than that. Unless of course, you want to SLI 2 780Tis or Titans, which go ahead by all means, especially if you don't have any budget problems. It's all dependent on what you want to spend.
  11. Yup, that's exactly how I intended for you to use what I gave you in my post. Just to get yourself a starting point, a base line per say, of what you are working with.
  12. I currently own: 4 Keyboard Brands - Razer, CoolerMaster, Corsair and Ducky. 4 Mice Brands - Razer, Corsair, CoolerMaster, Logitech I've also owned many, many more brands, including multiple models of each of those brands. I enjoy each of them, some more than others. They all have their high points and low points - pros/cons. Out of all of them, I find myself using Razer products more than the rest. They are no "better OR worse" than "the next guys". Each that I own are around the same price point, whether the keyboards or the mice. I'm curious.. Why the Razer hate!? The only thing I can think of is the pricetag that Razer comes with.. But that shouldn't be enough to judge! I am not one to care about prices much - That's one area in life I am grateful in. But, I do buy Razer due to the aesthetics mostly, as they perform the same as any other keyboard I've used, owned, or currently use. Also keep in mind, and I delve into this a bit deeper below, but I am not one to buy due to a certain label or branding it has. I don't buy Razer because it has a 3-Headed Snake on it or says "You are now part of the Cult of Razer". But anyways, pardon the rant. Onto the topic at hand.. • The thing I hate the most is when I like a product (of any kind) so much, and then realize it doesn't come in the color scheme that I need/want. This is a big pet peeve of mine. As an example - how good Noctua fans perform, but yet are so damn disgustingly ugly with a hint of "Wtf!". • As mentioned above, another one of my pet peeves is shopping per brand... No, just no! It's just as easy a no-name brand manufactures a wonderful item that beats (in whatever ways) a well-known brand's item. The only thing here is, obviously, if the brand has never let you down, and you have zero complaints, it's more than okay to stick with who you trust. Just don't use this as the ONLY processes in eliminating competing items.
  13. Where is my Royalty Check? You can make it out to: MrYuriy Also I hold full copyright to that name. You must now shut down your YouTube channel immediately. ..Just kidding mate. I'm glad I could provide something that you will use. I've subscribed to your channel to show support. 1st Subscriber! It can be tough to get started on the YTMonster, so I know every little bit counts. Now I will be demanding quality videos. I show support to every video I watch, whether I comment, subscribe, or give a thumbs up or thumbs down. So you'll be getting blunt criticism from me So if you don't like it, fix it. I wish you the best of luck in your YouTube Endeavors. Enjoy~
  14. I think the best thing for you to do, instead of doing this cold turkey, is to go a few Pre-Built PC/Laptop websites and see what you can create within your budget. This will be a good indicator because the parts those sites will use will all be high-end and new for the most part. Or at least very popular parts. Some of the sites that come to mind (though Google is your best friend): Maingear - https://www.maingear.com/custom/computers/custom-built-laptops.php iBuyPower - http://www.ibuypower.com CyberPower - http://www.cyberpowerpc.com Alienware - http://alienware.com DigitalStorm - http://www.digitalstormonline.com/gaming-laptops.asp FalconNorthWest - http://www.falcon-nw.com/laptops XoticPC - https://www.xoticpc.com PowerNotebooks - http://www.powernotebooks.com As a slight disclaimer, no, I do not recommend getting it pre-built. Especially if you enjoy the building process in itself. However, anytime I build a gaming laptop with a budget like yours, or $1,500+ I use websites like these to give me an idea of what I can pack in. Keep in mind, you are using these links just as a guide - as building your own you will pack in more of a punch for a lot less money.

  16. Well I threw in some more, original post is edited. Is this the direction you want to go into, or do you just not want to use any variation of "ProKart"? Give us some ideas of things you like.. Or words you may want to use, etc. Give us some direction, and you'll receive better answers and advice. All we have to go off of right now is your username.. That's it.
  17. Ahh, cool cool. I'll definitely take a deeper look later. Only have time to skim right now. Thanks for the link though, I'm sure OP will benefit from your help.
  18. How about ProKarTech - PKT for short, I can already imagine some cool logos with those 3 letters. Pro-K Gaming ProkarTechGuru PKTechSource PKTechnology This is such a vague question.. Who knows what you like! And on top of that, half of what you choose will be taken. My tip to you is, just be yourself and name the channel something that sounds good and relates to you.. It doesn't have to be flashy or "cool", but it sure as hell has to stick into people's minds and be unique if you fancy being any level of successful on YouTube. But, that's all I got for now. I might think of a few more for you and post them.
  19. You won't be upset. Good luck and let me know if you have any other questions.
  20. Well, truth be told I've never done a benchmark/comparison with just these two.. So I don't have the testing or proof to back-up what the difference, or how much it really is. I have, however, used both in different builds, and yes, as I said, the NH-D14 always etches away as far as performance is concerned. You might have more experience with these exact two compared/tested/benchmarked side by side, and I would trust your answer if you have. So if that is the case, then using the word destroy over slightly outperform is fine with me, as long as you have the facts - because I don't. At least not enough to judge HOW much of a performance difference there is; I only know that there is one.
  21. Considering if you have an SSD for your OS and a few of your favorite, most-played games, the WD Blue would do just fine. Yes, the WD Black Series will do a bit better, but that's all dependent on how much you're willing to spend for your performance. For gaming, with all my builds for clients including my own, I use the same two drives. Samsung 840 Series SSDs (EVO or PRO depending on client budget) and WD Black to go with it. However, for ALL of my budget-friendly gaming builds, I use WD Blue and I've yet to have any negatives to say about it, even for gaming. Except of course.. All HDDs crash at some point, but that's a moot point in this case. PS: Don't go with the Barracuda. At this price point, I say WD or bust. My Seagate VS Western Digital Failure Rate is.. to put it nicely.. not even close.
  22. Well, like I said, tough choice.. I do also believe the NH-D14 would slightly out-perform the H60. The Antec shouldn't even be in the running to be honest with you. As I mentioned though, I only choice H60 for you because the performance would be great, and it would go with your color scheme. However, and although the Noctua cooler won't go with the color scheme, yes, it is the best performer of the 3.
  23. First off, please change your text back to normal... You can't see a thing when using Dark Theme, which I am, and I'm sure a lot of others are also. Anyways, I would go with the Corsair H60 if I was building this and those were my 3 choices. The Noctua wouldn't go too well with your color scheme, and it seems to me that aesthetics are definitely a focus to you. (I am also huge on aesthetics, especially with a window side panel) But if you were to eliminate one of them, it would be the Antec for sure. Per performance, looks, price, etc, the Antec doesn't seem to hang with the H60 & NH-D14. Just my opinions.
  24. That's a tough poll.. Some unusual/interesting choices there. I went with Warcraft, as I think they have a loooooot of context to work with, especially if it's based on the entire WarCraft series, not just WoW. Which, it seems like that's what you indicated in the poll choices. I think it would be fun to see how they do a battle between orcs/humans, etcetc on the big screen. Definitely a 100% Geek Approved movie, lol. Also, another reason I chose this, is due to the fact that most of the other choices seem very easy to pull off.. Spies, shooters, etc. I think this one would be pretty difficult to execute - at least, to good results. Another I would love though, would be Mass Effect. Also would be quite interesting to say the least.
