    It might be a bad gpu,If you still have your 7850 i would slap that in,and send back the R9 280X for a new one.

    It detects the usb drive ,but does not automatically boot from it.You have to set that in the boot order.No biggie....either way he will figure it out eventually.

    I had a MSI Z77A-GD65,and still have a Z87-GD65.Never had any problems.Good motherboards.What it boils down to,is which one do you really want?I mean where you look at it,and say man.....i really want that.

    It is a great card smokes my 290X by 5 to 10 frames in all my games.From Skyrim to BF4. Not a great deal, but still a good deal.
