  1. Ya they are still coming, something is obviously broken. @LinusTechI never tag you in anything ever but you might wanna look into this IF you arent already aware although im guessing you are
  2. I woke up this morning and had 33 notification emails from floatplane for videos Ive already gotten notifications for before. Did anyone else have this happen this morning?
  3. There is a stealth pad coming, I think they actually showed a sample on a WAN show before unless im misremembering where it just had a black ltt logo on a black pad.
  4. I SERIOUSLY doubt Linus wants to turn his home where his kids live into a tourist attraction
  5. I got tell you, as someone that uses tools in a professional atmosphere I can’t think of many tool sets that have 100 plus pieces that were $70 that were actually any good. However admittedly I work on vehicles as opposed to computers so it’s not apples to apples but my Snap on ratcheting screw driver is WAY better than the master craft and craftsman versions I’ve tried instead. Was the Snap on one more, absolutely, substantially more, but as someone that uses them every day to make money it’s 100% worth it. I’ll try the LTT one, if it is as good as they are hyping it up I’ll order a few of them, if they aren’t than I’ll toss it into a drawer with the other tools I retired early due to not being up to par.
  6. How do you know that? Have you been hands on with the LTT driver yet?
  7. I only wondered because we all know apple likes to control everything so it would seem weird for them to depend on anyone else for functionality of one of their core apps on their devices. But what you said does make total sense
  8. Id this the same for the IOS podcast app? Because now on there it just says the file is unavailable
  9. I’ve been trying to load the podcast on my IPhone for this last fridays show and it keeps just trying to load for like 30 seconds then fails saying it’s unavailable. Pretty sure it’s broken. Just giving a heads up and didn’t know where to post it
  10. I buy XXL and they fit true and havent shrunk on me but I wash in cold. Not sure if you are washing warmer than that.
  11. I turned 40 in December. So Im definitely over the average age on this forum.
  12. I bought one at launch, I have been using it the entire time and bought a couple others since for different work stations, the quality is EXCELLENT and I have spilled on them before and once dried you could never tell it happened. Size wise I bought the biggest size available first. Then a couple smaller ones. Very happy customer here
  13. Corsair 7000 series. I am currently using one with 2 pump res combos and a 360mm rad and a 420 rad and like 14 fans in this thing and there is still space to work around, its not a small case but damn is it ever a dream to build a loop in. A close second for me was the older Define R6 (I still have one sitting in a box incase I wanna build a second water cooled computer) and the the new Define 7 has a very similar layout so I am sure it would be a good candidate as well. Yes the o11d is good for watercooling but there are SO many out there that are done and like 85% of them look the basically the exact same. EDIT I missed the part where you said you needed internal drive bays. The Fractal Design Define 7xl would meet your needs I think, might be a bit tight but should be totally doable with some careful planning.
  14. You cant mix and match fans on a commander pro, you need separate commanders for each series of fans or change to all the same series
  15. I absolutely can relate. I have tried multiple things, at the end of the day it was a combo of turning off motion blur, turning down my mouse sensitivity and moving to a smaller monitor. All of those things helped to a point but at the end of the day I needed to limit my play to 60 minutes or less and then take a 15 minute break or so to stop from feeling sick
  16. In Canada we have the same system as the states, I assure you as a consumer we all find it as stupid as you do lol. But as for why, im pretty sure its as you stated, its the perception of being cheaper than it actually is
  17. Im running a 7000x right now, you can technically do it but I would suggest against it, It gets VERY VERY cramped to make your bends. I personally did a 360 at the top in push pull exhaust, a 420 along the front and 4 intake up the back side with a rear exhaust as well.
  18. How old is he, certainly sounds high but used vehicles generally have higher interest rates. Where was it from and who was the financing through
  19. Lol I knew when I was typing out a post about grammar I was going to mess up somewhere but I just accepted that I was gonna end looking hypocritical somehow
  20. 5% of the fixes you know apply to 95% of the problems you'll encounter.
  21. If you're english speaking and you don't capitalize a proper name than you are just plain doing it wrong. Its an actual rule of the english language to capitalize proper nouns. Formal or informal conversation, if you send a message to me with a name not capitalized I wont view it as friendly, Ill look at it as an uncorrected error that you should have caught.
  22. Oh I definitely get that, my frustration is the default config is a bad config, If I was the company I would be setting a better config with a slightly higher price tag and make the customer take components out as opposed to assume they have the knowledge needed to add in more than what they company sets as default. But I certainly see your point
  23. Oh there 100% are better options, He can mount a 240 at the top or a 360 at the front, he might even be able to mount a 280 at the top but the memory makes the clearance questionable. My point was that the SI shouldnt be shipping that chip with a 120mm aio, but maybe Im just expecting to much because I know better, just like 99% of the people on these forums know better that a 120mm AIO on a 5800x is not suitable
  24. What makes you say that? I find most of their merch to be inline price wise. Good Tshirts for $20 is fine, sure maybe the WAN hoodie would be better if it was $10-@0 less but its not egregious. The only thing thats out of wack is the $170 pillow is way to high but its supposed to be, thats the joke.
