  1. I'd say go 16gb for safety if you can afford it, but if not I think you will be fine if the gpu and cpu can handle the workload
  2. so in a way it isn't fair, but console games are likely to go to 60 fps soon. Try your test again when it becomes more mainstream for games to do so
  3. Console games are designed to run a 30fps, so it runs smoother than a pc game at 30 for a pc game is usually geared for 60+

  5. If it already corrupted the data, which sounds like it did, you need to reinstall the apps to be safe you can also wipe the drive it was on.
  6. No, that would be painful better to wipe hard drive and reinstall if that was needed. What did you do to get rid of the virus and what kind was it?

  11. Rx580 arent too bad and for gaming 32gb ram is more than enough for what you need. Whats your current budget?

  14. Safest route back up the games and other data out and format the hard drive then make ssd the boot drive and reinstall everything. You can merge c and d partitions without data loss, but since you are formating C (which is your boot process) you cant do that and merge.
  15. A 1060 6gb cost about the same as a 1700 so you could do that.

  17. You could try messing with GPU settings to see if you can maintain your clock speeds at lower power.
