    Building My First PC

Yea get a B450 motherboard like an MSI (tomahawk) or Asrock (pro4). Or do you already own it? And the RX 580 will be just fine as long as you're playing 1080p, if you're playing 1440p be prepared to lower some settings The RTX 2060 sounds great and all, but if you don't need it, I would just get the 580 for now and save up over the next year or so. Hopefully by then there will be better options and hopefully better pricing.

    Upgrade!!

Here's a solid 1080p build that should last you a while and will offer a great upgrade to Zen 2. If you need wifi either get a $30 wifi card or get the B450 Pro Carbon AC (If you're on a strict budget and need wifi lose the HDD). Upgrade!!

I game at 60fps too, on a 4k screen. If you game at 1080p, you don't need that much horsepower. And you just want an entire new pc? what is your current specs?

    Upgrade!!

What's you're current build? Are you looking for an entire new build or just some upgrades?
  5. ChewToy!

    Is this normal?

Do you have experience overclocking cards?

Problem with brand new $1500 pc

This is mine (turn speakers up)

No, the opposite. It makes noise on high FPS. Sorry if I wrote it weird.

So with me, I tried what you said. I opened another game and played it at 4k 60fps and used maximum power draw from my GPU and the sound went away. So it basically makes that noise when playing high FPS on games like CSGO. It's not just about how much power the card is consuming, it's literally from the high FPS because 300 fps at 4k on CSGO it makes noise, it uses over 300 watts on my card and while Hitman 2 60fps 4k uses same power, it doesn't make any noise at all

    Corsair 460X Fan Config?

I have the Phanteks Entho Pro M which is just a little bigger, so I decided to stick my H150i Pro (360 rad) in the front to help it take up space, that and because it just looked dumb on the top (I thought it came down too far) and having all that space in the front. This isn't always recommended (front mount) since the heat from the radiator could then be circulated into your case. I also have a liquid GPU so I'm not really worried about temps inside my case. I have 2 1x140mm fans on the top just to provide fresh air to my GPU rad mounted as an exhaust on the back. If you're mounting it on the top I would have it set to exhaust for the same reasons I mentioned before, although it may not be that big of a deal, depends on your hardware and the quality of said hardware. I have excellent temps.

What I did was just open HWInfo, sensors only, and monitored the timing with the buzzing and looks like it's happening when my GPU clock goes up, but it's not doing it consistently or constantly so it's hard to tell. My GPU also has a light graph on it that tells me which P state it is in, which gives me an idea of how fast it's running without needing software. But that might help you narrow it down.

I'm actually playing that right now which is why I hear it. Let me disable my overclocks.

What does a coil wine sound like? I have a liquid Vega 64 and I keep hearing what I think is the pump, I just want to make sure it's not a coil wine..
