  1. I hope I am not breaking any rules but I am resurrecting this thread. I have ran into a serious problem. I did end up buying the gpu and power supply the christmas I made this thread. Unfortunately in the last few months my pc has been randomly turning off and back up by itself with no warning. Anyone have any idea why?
  2. Hi, I know this is more for bigger tech but I am having a issue with both my Sandisk Ultra 16gb usbs. It seems I am no longer able to use them. So I first tried to reformat them and I get this error while in Windows 10's Disk Management (The volume was created successfully, but it was not formatted retry the format using the format task). So they I go and click format and it errors (An unexpected error has occurred. Check the System Event Log for more information on the error. Close the disk management console, then restart disk management or restart the computer.) Then the usb is no longer detected on Windows Explorer. So guys I am stuck, I mainly used these for installing Linux distros onto my various pc's/laptops but it seems they both have the same issue and it's annoying. Anyone have a possible solution, or are these usb's just dead?
  3. Well i'm planning on waiting towards christmas/blackfriday where everything will have good deals. So this upgrade list may end up changing to better stuff.

  5. Well my current build is a old crappy Lenovo x315 "Gaming" PC. Not sure what exactly I can reuse other then probably the HDD, and the ram.
  6. Hello, I am in the process of making a brand new custom built pc, my budget is around 500-700 bucks but really depends on whats out there on the market. I am gonna use my current GTX 1060 from my current pc to my new pc. What CPU would you consider that is within that price range? Keep in mind I have to buy other stuff using that budget!
  7. Both Acers, 1080p. Extremely sorry about the late reply, I already got the Gtx 1060 but now I'm looking around for reasonable cpu's that work with the 1060
  8. So should my new setup work? CPU: AMD A8-7600 (I know it will bottleneck) GPU: Amd Radeon R7 360 Series -> Upgrading to GTX 1060 Ram: 12 GB of ram Power supply: 270 watt power supply I think -> EVGA BT 450 W 80+ ATX Power Supply Will my upgraded parts work?

  10. Even with the bottleneck, would I still see much better performance then my current graphics card?
  11. Dang... Probably can't get a decent cpu within my budget
  12. Sorry I keep asking more and more questions but you have really been helping me out and I deeply appreciate it! I have a AMD A8-7600 CPU, do you think it will work with the new graphics card and power supply?
