  2. Hnnggg I'd use this beast to attract many different women to my man cave where I can showcase my PC casing this monster of a CPU.... yeah that's not gonna work, I'll stick to my games
  3. Sweet! My PSU is like 3 years old so the power supply would be my favourite haha
  4. My favourite feature is the 1080p IPS display. Most laptops I've used all have pretty damn terrible displays, and that's coming from someone who works in a tech store.
  5. My favourite feature is the 5.5" QHD display... or the laser autofocus, that's pretty damn cool
  6. I've taken my GPU out and booted with on board graphics and the issue seems to have disappeared, which is a shame because the only other GPU I can use for tonight is a GTX 570, which should be fine for the games we intend to play (Counter Strike Source/GO, Dawn of War etc) all old games that really don't need that much horsepower, though that GPU is in another machine a friend was going to borrow, so I guess my laptop is going to have to step in Thanks for your help, I'm going to keep testing and trying to recreate the issue before I install the 570 just to be sure, and if I can't then I'll have to get on to my retailer and claim warranty for my 770 Cheers
  7. Interestingly when the freezing occurs (which is completely random, no pattern in frequency) nothing drastically changes in Task Manager under Performance I'll take another look at this tomorrow, but it's 2AM at the moment and I am over this so I'll leave it for now, cheers for your help and I'll see what I can do tomorrow I'm pretty convinced it's the motherboard to be honest Another thing to note is the simple act of running Minecraft and playing a YouTube video at 720p at the same time seemed to accelerate the frequency of the freezing quite drastically, so I'm also thinking it could be the graphics card though I don't see why that would interfere with my USB ports
  8. I'm on my secondary PC at the moment, shortly after I posted this my PC got a BSOD and now refuses to boot (does not display and mouse and keyboard keep turning on and off) I'm leaning towards the motherboard or possibly the graphics card, but it seems like it's the mobo EDIT: I've managed to get the PC to boot, so there's that, I'll look into it
  9. Hey guys, I built my rig about November last year, and up until yesterday there have been no issues. I'm fairly computer literate so I've spent a few hours troubleshooting the issue myself, and even gone as far as to reinstall my OS (tried all other possible software fixes and it was time for a refresh anyway) so now I'm convinced this may be a hardware issue which is worrying. Whether it's just web browsing or playing a game, my cursor freezes. Only for a split second. I also noticed when Skyping with my friend some of the time when this happened it also disconnected my headset for a moment and I had to go and reselect it in Skype (it's a USB headset), so I'm unsure if it's an issue with the USB ports on my motherboard or what the issue is (I have suspicions it may be the motherboard as whilst I've been having this issue the computer doesn't seem capable of restarting, and I have to manually restart by switching the PC off and back on again at the power supply. My specs are as follows: Core i5 4670K overclocked to 4.2GHz (very stable, has been fine for months) 8GB Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz 2TB Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM hard drive for storage 120GB Intel SSD Galaxy GeForce GTX 770 2GB Gigabyte Z87-HD3 I'm getting fairly concerned especially since I am going to a LAN party tomorrow so this would be majorly inconvenient if I can't get this sorted (though to be honest I don't expect to as I believe it may be a faulty component) Thanks in advance to anyone who is able to help
  10. I absolutely love the build quality of the HTC One M7 and M8. I only used iPhones a year back, and I've since switched to a Samsung Galaxy S4, due to me not thinking build quality was important and boy was I wrong, and TouchWiz is a joke, I've had to root and flash a custom rom just to make the phone barable for me to use. Hope I win the M8
