  1. Got another suggestion, why do some website have a number in the "www" portion of their website link? I see it a lot with government sites like this: http://www1.nyc.gov/office-of-the-mayor/news/414-17/100-000-good-paying-jobs-mayor-de-blasio-releases-10-year-plan-invest-new-industries-raise#/0.
  2. What do printers actually do to clean themselves? Usually mine does after I change the ink.
  3. Source article: http://www.technobuffalo.com/2015/05/15/candy-crush-saga-will-come-preinstalled-with-windows-10/ With Microsoft bringing back features like the Start Menu in Windows 10, games will also be back. Aside from the classics, Minesweeper, Hearts, and a new Solitaire collection, Microsoft is equally as excited to give us Candy Crush Saga as part of the OS. Microsoft says it's "working with partners to bring some of their great games to Windows 10." This means larger OS installs, as well as bloatware that we'll want to get rid of. It's obvious that they're doing this to cover costs for giving Windows 10 free for a year.
  4. No idle graphs? Also no real world testing? If the video was done in a hurry I get it but otherwise it needs more performance data.
  5. I don't really think a Techquickie on the silicone lottery will make too much sense, since there isn't really that much to say about it. I'm probably just missing out on a lot of the behind the scenes stuff that goes on in the factories that produce these chips so that's probably why.
  6. This is sick of you! Thanks for the giveaway man!
  7. Frankly, I don't see one based on the business model they're using.
  8. Nope the only way they're making money out of it is through ads on the pylons.
  9. I would love to win this NUC! I think I'd turn it into a Hackintosh for my Mac needs for school.
  10. They probably will monitor the internet usage but honestly it's not like they don't already have everything about our personal lives.
  11. That's odd my school doesn't care if we bring our phones. We use them everywhere no one says a thing. What school do you go to? PM me if you don't want to publicize it.
  12. Unless you're a gamer and care about your latency. But haha, I can see people doing that if they don't game.
  13. It says they will be in all five boroughs. EDIT: Unless you're trying to say with the vandalism in NYC.
  14. Yeah, I was thinking the same. But if you've got one of those phones that can do Quick Charging a few minutes should be all you need!
  15. True, they'll probably have hidden cameras on them in order to catch speeders and people who do vandalize that stuff.
  16. LinkNYC, a new plan for the financial capital of the world will be replacing 10,000 public pay phones with pylons (towers, posts) that will be capable of providing free public Wi-Fi capable of gigabit internet speeds 24/7. It also is a charging station for your mobile devices, is able to call any number domestically in the US, and it will also feature a tablet-like interface that can provide services within the city such as directions. Sounds expensive doesn't it? Especially since it isn't using taxpayer dollars, the entire thing will be paid for through advertising profits. The commercial version of the posts will feature a massive screen on both sides of the pylons showing ads. The residential version will not (pictures featured below from the article.) This project is estimated to bring NYC $500 million in revenue over its first 12 years. While it is questionable how LinkNYC will be able to deliver gigabit speeds over Wi-Fi as most networks cannot sustain a gigabit connection on their own today. LinkNYC will be available throughout all five boroughs. I'm personally hopping seamless hoping from pylon to pylon will be supported. I'm especially excited for this mainly because I live in NYC but I love to see that we're finally beginning to move away from slow, low reception public Wi-Fi. 17. I would love to see Linus do a review of this. Loving the uber powerful, and unique systems that Linus has been doing right now (oil cooled PC, and the 63:9 curved LG rig). Would love to see another video with a rig for that cooling system (and well frankly those GPUs too).
