    Vega 8 on the 3200G is on par with the GDDR5 version of the 1030, so there's no point in using a 610 with it. Also 610 just bad for anything other than browsing the internet.

    Do you already have a 1200? For 200£ I'd recommend getting another stick of ram if you're running a single stick and a used GPU like a 1060. Don't go for the 1050ti though, it's really bad for the price .And any AM4 mobo. Streaming is out of the question.

    Used 1600, or maybe a used 2600? I wouldn't go for the 2200g unless you need that iGPU. 1200 and 2200g has nearly identical CPU performance.

    Don't use the long screws to screw in the PSU. Learned it the hard way.

    If you do end up getting tearing anyway, use scan-line sync with Rivatuner. It's vsync without lag.

    Have you tried changing slots? I changed mine from a1b1 to a2b2 and got 3000mhz working.

    Go for a used GPU if you can or get an APU. Don't go for the 710.

    @Jurrunio Is 1.438v normal when boosting to 4ghz? It stays in the 1.3v range all other times after I changed the offset. edit: and it went up to 1.45v now

    Sorry forgot to mention the board in original post - it's Asus B450ma with latest BIOS.

    I was trying to set my ram to 3000mhz and failed. I reset everything by loading optimized defaults. Now the cpu is at 1.5v automatically. Resetting didn't do anything. What do I do?

    It really just depends on your use case though. Do you mainly game or work projects that needs higher core count.

    Get the 8GB version. OC means it's overclocked out of the box. You can buy the 8GB version and OC it yourself. Also is 2400g the only option? I'd try to get a 2600.

    CPU bottleneck at that res if you're trying to actually hit 144fps.
