  1. Ah ok gotcha, well in that case it also was a little bit my opinion ofcourse. Here's more; I have matte monitors at home and 1 thats glossy, they both are fine for me, but the glossy one is a touchscreen so has way thicker glass over it. So hard to compare. As with the matte i like the actuall display is right in front. As for any reflections, i dont care if when off i can see my reflection. I do like that the glossy ones are easier to clean. needs less rubbing to get any tougher dirt off. (dont ask and no, nothing that nasty!)
  2. Im not sure about the particulates, but do they have their own forum or bug report system? (Maybe others have the same problem) Maybe they made a mistake and did it wrong? Im not to familiar with this in particular.
  3. One is NOT better then the other, they just have different uses. Also why notebooks are more likely to come with shiny screens and monitors more likely to come with matte screens; In home matte is nicer when in the evening with more lights on. But outside with the single light source i prefer a glossy screen thats only useless in that one direction and fine in all others. And so much more reasons to use either.
  4. I think we need a lot more info then this to really help. But i dont know to much baout this stuff to know what info. hehehe. Also it clearly shows you have version 6.1.0 While its expecting Version 6.1.1 Which is a difference. Make sure you have downloaded it after 14th of april. Else re-download. Or check digital signature to make sure you have the right version downloaded. Also note the
  5. or dont. Just another one trying to get rich of a situation most people have no control over. So yeah get them for anything they did wrong, in a time where it was important to help each other...
  6. What USB do you connect headset too? Maybe try another port, preferable one directly from the motherboard (usually back of PC). I think he means this menu. Which will show audio input (and output, on other tab). But also shows if they are enabled and standard and such, So yeah follow the advice PRECISELY!!! Also, you can easily make a screenshot by pressing WINKEY+PrinScreenKEY, it will save in your pictures folder. (Then you can use Paint to crop out the unnecessary parts.)
  7. If you want this, you will need to go to speciality shop. And not be worried about price. And since you want Kali pre-installed, i would just hire a IT-technician if i was you to do it for you and maintain it after setting it up.
  8. This was not the point of using Firefox. Read it carefully. Maybe the last sentence that didnt show wasnt too obvious. Once imported into Firefox, export it back to Brave.
  9. This can and DOES work, ive done it. You just need to know how to go about it. Googling howto do it per program basis would be smarter then just trying to copy over stuff, as that WILL BREAK THINGS! Like example for steam. Install steam. Point it to install directory. (Make sure its EMPTY!) Then exit Steam. Then copy game files to the previously empty directory Restart steam It should find the installs, if not check game integrity. Success. Im pretty sure there is an option to do this for brave too. Im guessing you copied over to many files. As you would need to refill its cache, copying that would corrupt the whole thing. So instead of the shotgun approach, try to be more precise, and do apps 1 at a time, just to make sure its done correctly.
  10. If you didnt tell all the things you tried, i would be like, this is a broken cable on the mouse. But it happening with different mice, makes me think it might be power related. Make sure all power connectors are fastened well. Even go as far as unplug them and plug them back in. Specifically the motherboard 24pin. If thats not it, it could be that the motherboard is faulty. Best of luck, my lack of knowledge makes me unable to think of other solutions right now.
  11. This is also exactly how phishing works btw. Maybe make your thing not look like a phishing attempt by doing the least possible. Only reason i think its not as bad, is because its a github link, but i'd advise to be HIGHLY sceptical before downloading. Maybe explain something where it came from who made it how it works?
  12. My best guess would be that is that the BIOS standard is to have them on when PSU gets power. And it takes that 'long' to load your personal configuration. You could possibly prevent this by using an RGB hub. But its unlikely due to the daisy chaining. As long as the cables that go into both sockets dont get hot it should be safe. (The PSU sends 5Vsb as soon as the PSU is power to give the motherboard the power to wake the system. (like power for keaybord and mouse and more))
  13. Maybe check in the hardware monitor settings? It might have a high temp alert or something else? I was also thinking maybe 2,4Ghz (BlueTooth frequency) interference, but since Bluetooth is digital its either working or not. ish.
  14. No need, i was just trying to help. If you have a 2nd monitor you can drag the volume mixer on there. If not, what game is it, maybe it just has that sound in it? Or is it the same sound in multiple games? Do you have any apps running in the background maybe? Is it possible to maybe record the sound? Or is it to random? Does your headphones have a long cable thats maybe close to another giving interference? Im asking these questions as we need to find the source, then we can fix it. I hope im not being to rude, i do not mean it as such.
  15. Hmm thta is a weird one, i dont know what to tell you, besides see what the volume mixer says. Also mention this in first post, in case ppl dont read the rest. This is important info where the sound is coming from! The more specific you are in your question (specialy if you show effort) the help will be that much better!!!
  16. Specs? Also try and find some audio on "coil-whine" most likely its that. GPU and PSU are the biggest coil-whine culprits afaik.
  17. Have you reset the BIOS after the update? Might help.
  18. Yeah need way more info. what device what OS What website What did you try to fix it What do you expect to happen etc Do the work.
  19. Nothing much besides replacing it. There might be a more silent model. You could try and dampen the sound but not all drive mount let you dampen the vibrations. Or you could go into power settings in your OS and have it turn of the drive after certain period. But in use all of them make sound. While some are more silent then others, mechanical harddrives have a motor in them to rotate the platters, so they will always make some sound.
  20. Im dutch but i do not understand what you mean with keyshaped holes... Maybe share a picture for example or something. In the netherlands we use the Type F / Schuko CEE 7/3 WCD + CEE 7/4 plug system. With these plugs and sockets You can check this wiki for more types: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mains_electricity_by_country Might be able to find the type you want from there even.
  21. Vivaldi is another chromium browser you could try. (Has built in adblocking an no google tracking but the plugins all work the same). But im using Firefox now and i cannot say its any slower then a chromium browser. (i dont use Google Chrome).
  22. Oh yeah, they dont care. We gamers/consumers dont matter, just our money matters. And then they wonder why we dont spend as much of it anymore, if the only thing we can afford is total fucking garbage.
  23. Just FYI Noctua aren't always the best price/quality, here a pack of 5 is the same for the same price as 2 Noctua fans, and i can tell from experience these are very quiet too. (tried on 120mm version) https://www.amazon.com/ARCTIC-P14-Value-Pack-Pressure-optimised/dp/B07HC9ZWDN/ this is 140mm edition
  24. Yup, @Eigenvektoris correct. I did mean i have more hope for optimisation from indie developers. (if they are in teams or not). The big boys, that do it just for the profit or to keep their board (of directors) satisfied, do enough to make it work on most systems that are currently in use. Simple cost - benefit calculation (for some). So no they dont do it like you said, but the big corpo's do manage to spend more on research for market demand (or just cheap out and use Steam survey thingy info). Then try and aim to satisfy that as that would result in the best financial gains. But i tought this was obvious, i guess not. Sorry. Oh and calm down, if i didnt get this 3060 for free, i'd still be rocking a 1060. And gaming on it too!
  25. There is only 1 (maybe 2 or 3) different versions of a PS5. There are technically and factually MILLIONS of variations for PC. So there's that too.
