  1. I played the Titanfall free weekend from EA. If you like really quick fragging with a parkour style environment than Titanfall is the game to get. Watch Dogs is an entirely different game. The campaign is something you'll probably run through once. Not sure about replay value on this game. With a $60 investment, replay value is essential IMO. Don't know about CoD, know it's a twitch game, but I was always on the battlefield side, never played CoD except way back on the OG Xbox.
  2. That's ultra settings and only avg FPS. with same cpu across the board. My HD7750 is obviously not meant to run 1920x1080 ultra. The way the OP wants it, is tons of different generation CPU's and different Vram cards and generations with evidence of settings causing major blow to performance or any anomalies related to specific set-ups. Probably state drivers as well! I'm redownloading the game with a hotfix, will post later. Going to try 1080p on my big screen to see just how CPU bound I truly am.
  3. SC2 : Meatcurtains I only play 4v4's and 3v3's. Gold league. I stick to simple builds. Zerg ... 8 pool into zerg rush and sending more each time a larvae pops up, than into a queen, then zerg speed, and if I haven't taken out a mineral line or got shutdown, I hold off expo's and go into muta's! Terran, Mass rines with 1/1. Medi drops and generally no tech. Protoss, Mass stalkers with blink and upgrades, or i'll rush DTs. I never change up builds based on what my opponent does! Low APM of 35-45. Casual player! Not HoTS, Liberty.
  4. http://search.ncix.com/search/?qcatid=0&q=club3d+ R7 265 = $140 R9 270 = $160 R9 270X = $180 http://www.ncix.com/detail/xfx-radeon-r9-280-933mhz-cd-95214-1069.htm R9 280 = $255 - Rebate.
  5. Do you have an aftermarket heatsink on the i5-4670K ? It's as simple as changing the a few values in the BIOS. But is it needed for gaming ? No. Maybe if you wanted to encode video quicker, but that's not what you're looking for. Skyrim ... CPU heavy game ... no major diff from 3.5ghz to 4.6ghz OC ... Default settings and no AA to keep the GPU bottle away as well. http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/2013/06/12/intel-core-i5-4670k-haswell-cpu-review/5 Do your homework first ...
  6. 8/10 http://www.gamespot.com/reviews/watch-dogs-review/1900-6415770/ 8.4/10 http://www.ign.com/articles/2014/05/27/watch-dogs-review
  7. This is me playing lowest settings. Deadly low FPS during recording. Playable while not recording. I found it to be a mix of Deus Ex + Splinter Cell + GTA + Sleeping Dogs + FC:3 etc. Typical open world with main campaign and waste of time side missions. I hate having to travel between point A + B to get to my next directive. This video I made sums up my feelings ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CsqvFuiLDsg
  8. OC your FX-8150 to the tits. 4.6ghz hopefully. Some games, ie. AC4, SC2, Skyrim, WoW, MetroLL, love high IPC dual cores ... that's where intel wins. Clock for clock intel's newest chips are about 50% faster. A 2.8ghz Intel would equal a 4.2ghz bulldozer essentially. If it's that bothersome, sell the chipset, grab a Z97 + i5.
  9. http://www.techpowerup.com/gpudb/b839/afox-hd-7850-low-profile.html HD7850 low pro ^. Much more high performance 'single slot' cards. Quite difficult to shrink that PCB w/o sacrifice.
  10. Good graphics or bad graphics ... it doesn't matter. The game is a rehash of so many other open world AAA titles. The storyline is very weak and not engaging. Normally I am drawn into a game within the first few minutes, ie. FC:3 , Mass Effect , AC, The Witcher. Without a compelling storyline to separate itself from the rest of the pack, it will slip through the cracks ... or at least should have ... imo. Nothing redeeming or fresh in this rotten apple !!! I gave it 5 hours. Few fun missions aka objectives and time wasting driving, no story. Uninstalled. Will try wolfy.
  11. 149 pounds for the new Moto G LTE w/Micro SD slot in June. http://anandtech.com/show/8012/motorola-introduces-the-moto-g-with-lte
  12. Pirate. Not 100% load, but at least holding 30FPS and playable.
  13. E6600 2.4GHZ C2D 3.5GB DDR2 1GB HD 7750 128GB Crucial M4 Game runs ... CPU : 100% RAM : 1400MB GPU : 25% Usage Bad news, 22-25FPS the walking around areas. Major dips. C2D at 3.5GHZ+ should be fine. Any i3 = 4.5GHZ+ C2D's. i3's will be fine. Good news, game isn't optimized, even for high end rigs. People with high end cards complaining of major FPS dips at random.
