  1. Well, I miss web browsing and researching on a PC. Would love the PC to be somewhat snappy when multitasking, and having windows/tabs open. I would like to start out with something for light gaming. My budget isn’t the biggest, but I can afford to build on something over time. I plan on using my television as monitor to save money for the build. US.
  2. Have not had a PC since 2015, and used to be an active member on the LTT forums. Life got difficult (better now), and now I’m wanting to get back into tech. Everything seems sorta foreign too me now, even though it has only been six years. I can’t distinguish which hardware is the best bang for my buck, or what I’m looking at really. I’m familiar with the brands, but the specifications, product lines, and general pricing seem to be dramatically different. If anyone has suggestions on budget builds, send them my way!
  3. Washing your hands is probably going to be a start, but aside from that technique, i would also support it with daily cleanings, using alcohol, or wipes. If i'm correct, and forgive me if i am wrong, but i believe some mouses come equipped with a special padding, of which adsorbs excess liquid on the surface. The Razer Naga 2010 has this, and i have heard of it else where also, so perhaps look into that?
  4. Yes, they are called "deserts", or "treats"; we can't eat them all the time, as anything deep fried tends to be overpriced, but that's because it's located at a fair.
  5. What would be the advantaged of those cameras? For instance, i can compare videos cards, as i know about the technologies involved, like Nivdias cuda cores, Vram, Clock speed, ROPs, or texture units ect.. but when it comes to cameras, i don't know how to compare them, or to even see generally how good a camera is. Is there a certain types of lenses that i will need for the type of photos that i will be taking? What's the differences between these three DSLR's?
  6. I'm taking photography, and i need a DSLR, but i do not know anything photography, so it leaves me not knowing where to go. I'll be using the camera for journalism, and documentary type photos. My knowledge on DSLR cameras is next to none; i don't know anything about lenses, gear, cameras, brands, or what makes a DSLR, a DSLR; but i'll need one in a few months. My budget is around 1100 USD, i can go higher, but would prefer to stay around 1100 USD. This budget also includes all the gear i would need, so please fit everything i need within 1100. If anyone has anything that could help me, like perhaps videos, or some websites, that have some useful information; that would be greatly appreciated!
  7. USB sound card, and yes, that's how it works, as my headphones are connected to a USB sound card which converts it to 5.1, or 7.1; my on board audio card even does the same exact thing, and actually has the same program as the USB sound card.

  9. This feller is right, the whole "7.1 headphones" advertising of headsets is a sham, and shouldn't be included in as a specification to your decision, as you can get way higher quality headphones that are not branded "7.1 or 5.1", they can also be possibly way cheaper than the surround sound headphones. I would say buy a decent pair of headphones from a respected brand, and buy a usb sound card; you can find all kinds of good sound cards that will convert any headphones to 5.1, or 7.1, depending on what sound stick you have,
  10. Snow ball from fry is going for 50 bucks, and the shipping is free; a decent deal, as it usually MSRPs higher i believe. http://www.frys.com/product/8230476?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_PG Nvm, you're Australian
  11. I just want a good ol' fashion, and straight forward, mobile music player; does anyone know of a mp3 player with a decent on board DAC, and a good audio chip?
  12. http://www.amazon.co..._cr_dp_asin_lnk| I ended up just buying this
  13. Looking for the one with the best chip, frequencies, and bit rate; which DAC is the best? http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FEDHHKE/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3H7GPL9U124TQ http://www.amazon.com/D3-Digital-Converter-Optical-Toslink/dp/B005K2TXMO/ref=cm_cr_dp_asin_lnk http://www.amazon.com/Orei-DA21X-Premium-Converter-Headphone/dp/B00F4ORTZ6/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1429855068&sr=8-5&keywords=Headphone+Digital+DAC http://www.amazon.com/Panlong-Digital-Converter-Optical-Toslink/dp/B00C4QIETM/ref=sr_1_14?ie=UTF8&qid=1429855395&sr=8-14&keywords=Headphone+Digital+DAC http://www.amazon.com/ViewHD-Digital-TOSLINK-Headphone-VHD-DS4X1/dp/B00JD09NYW/ref=sr_1_16?ie=UTF8&qid=1429855395&sr=8-16&keywords=Headphone+Digital+DAC http://www.amazon.com/PeleusTech%C2%AE-VK-DAC2-Optical-Converter-Headphone/dp/B00S7PJS62/ref=sr_1_23?ie=UTF8&qid=1429855534&sr=8-23&keywords=Headphone+Digital+DAC
  14. I need something a little lower in price, perhaps this? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA1NV2PD6701&cm_re=Digital_dac-_-9SIA1NV2PD6701-_-Product. Wouldn't my sound card on board drive it? Would it make it any more louder?
  15. I can't use analog, only my digital output .
