  1. Boomsound. After getting an M7 it's so hard to listen to anything on any other phone or tablet
  2. Here is the original article from TechnoBuffalo: http://www.technobuffalo.com/2013/11/15/intel-opening-pop-up-stores-in-ny-la-and-chicago/ Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gVxlWyhKbz0 Intel is going to be opening up a store temporarily in New York Nov. 23rd to Jan. 25th. The Intel Experience Store, as they call it, is going to be a retail store, although you will have to buy the things online instead of leaving the store with them. Inside there is going to be regular movie screenings, lectures, and programs available such as electronics recycling and another one that lets people show off new products. The article also says that Intel will be letting people test out products outside of the store before they decide to buy them. More stores are being planned for Chicago and Los Angeles but no opening date has been set (they will be opening though before the shopping season). With that said, how do you think these stores are going to do? Also, would you like to see Intel include more locations?
  3. Here is the artcle: http://www.businessinsider.com/america-has-terrible-internet-service-2013-10 The article cites a study that looks at several large cities in the US and compares the internet prices to other around the world, basically finds what we all already know, and finds that Asian cities (Tokyo, Seoul, Hong Kong) have some of the best priced and fastest internet speeds, while the US (might as well throw in Canada and Australia too) lag far behind. One of only few exceptions to the study results was (you probably already guessed it) Google Fiber. With that said, how much do you guys pay for your internet connections? I'm currently paying $55 dollars/mo for 15mbps and live pretty close towards the center of Oklahoma.
  4. First of all, rats you beat me to this . I would really like to get one of these (Why would you not, =x $349 for a Nexus5 and then the price of the Nexus4 was great as well). BUT, I have Verizon so that will never happen =[.
  5. Calling these a "shut down" is always really confusing to everyone. Basically, what happens is that the government cannot decide on a budget. If they go too long without approving a budget by law they cannot spend anymore money unless a new budget gets approved or if money for something had already been approved beforehand.
  6. For a short moment today Google services (Gmail, Youtube, Google Drive, Google Search, etc.) were down. According to this article, and graph, the outage "killed" about 40% of the worlds internet traffic. Not really sure how accurate 40% is. But how awful would it be if they had an outage that lasted for a day or even longer than that?
