Good news is, on the hardware side (GPU or Motherboard) pinouts are standard. So make 100% sure the cables have the same pinout on the PSU side (honestly, they should, and OEMs that change that are doing weird things since it's the simplest solution). If they are, go right ahead

I haven't really been on that sub in quite a while, but when I was active in it, it was wasn't very toxic. I mean there were definitely toxic people on there, just like any other online community, but it was more people just helping others out. It's sad to here it went downhill.
