I want it to also be able t render, but from what i can understand the 1700 or 1700x should be good for basic rendering, right ?

I would assume gaming but I wouldn't undermine the rest though.

I've heard that there are problems with RAM compatibility and other minor things, generally my brother does not tinker with computers so I don't want any problems popping up in the near future. Are you guys aware of any problems ?

Hi, I am trying to built a computer for my brother and I cant choose on what CPU to get. The usage of the computer is going to be gaming ,3D animation and rendering, the budget for the CPU is around 350 euros (maybe even more, not sure yet). Any good suggestions ? Thank you all.
