Enstage 2's Achievements

  1. Only happened recently, accidentally tightened an m.2. heatsink screw, burred the screw so badly trying to get it undone I had to drill through my brand new mobo to get to off...
  2. Thermaltake "The Tower 900", plus I'm counting the PSU as an output. I generally run the radiator fans (intakes) at a lower speed to reduce noise, so it matches up pretty well.
  3. I have 8 140mm intakes, and 5 140mm out, I've found theres much less dust build up, and not really much difference in temperatures.
  4. Just purchased it the other week. This is pretty much how I use it. But the battery lasts surprisingly long, so often I just charge it overnight while I'm not at my PC every few days. Personally, I've found the wireless a bit buggy at times (not responsive for short bursts of time etc), and so end up using the cable for a few minutes anyway.
  5. Cablemod does custom backplates now too (like 60USD each), considering getting some myself.
  6. A 2080Ti will almost definitely be strong enough to run 1440p at 144hz on ultra settings in most games. Hell, my 1080Ti almost does that...
  7. Malwarebytes, been using it for years. Never had any issues with it.
  8. Absolutely not, but that doesn't mean a bunch of us are going to pass up such a great opportunity to spend another $1000.
  9. Because people spending that much money on such a high end card probably won't be using DVI. Additionally, HDMI / DP can be adapted to DVI pretty easily, while DVI to HDMI / DP means you can't always get full performance (DVI runs at a max of 1920x1200, so to convert DVI to DP / HDMI means you'll only get a max resolution of that).
  10. 100% with @Streetguru I'm in the same situation, I also have a single ASUS 1080Ti and I'm wondering what I should do here. When I saw the ray tracing demo, I was confident I would be preordering, but upon seeing those prices...Pretty expensive for me unless there is also a significant performance increase (more than 30% imo). I'm going to wait for benchmarks, and unless the 2080Ti surprises everyone performance wise, I'll probably just get another 1080Ti, and skip this generation, because I spend too much money
  11. No idea how I did it, but I got it to work, plugging the displays in one at a time seemed to get it working (didn't change any settings). My GPU can now replace my entire houses heating system! Will update if I get anymore information.
  12. Hello, I have an ASUS GTX 1080Ti, I'm running three 1080p @ 60hz BENQ monitors (two through HDMI and one through DP). I'm also trying to run an ACER 4k XB281HK monitor through DP, but for some reason there's no option to select anything above 30hz (at any resolution). The only way I can get it to display at 60hz is when no other monitors are connected, even then the screen randomly loses signal and goes black. With a single other display in the option for 60hz is removed from the Nvidia control panel, but still present in the Windows 10 display settings, but changing to 60hz introduces the issue of the screen losing signal and going black (but worse this time). Anymore than 2 displays connected total and theres no way to select 60hz for the panel. I've tried every DP cable I have available to me (like ~5 of them ranging from 1m to 5m in length, including the one that came in the box), I don't know how I can tell what the version of each of these cables is (I'm assuming that's the issue? I'm not too knowledgeable in this area). What should I do here? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
