  1. This is great news to me as an 8.1 user. Hopefully it's the full version and not some awful cut down version, but this is really good news, as windows 9 just seems to build on everything I liked about 8.1 and more, so I'm really looking forward to it.
  2. I seriously don't get how people are defending the 6+ here. Just look at Unbox Therapy's latest video. Look at how it bends, the back comes away from the screen. And in every case of the 6+ bending, its always in the same place, by the buttons. Clearly it is a weakness in the phones construction, and Lew can bend it with just using his thumbs, so it really is weak. Other phones he has tested have either not bent at all or bend slightly, but gone back to normal. The iPhone 6+ obviously has a poor construction, by the buttons. The 6 doesn't bend like the 6+, so it seems as though it is just affecting the 6+, but anyone who denies the fact that that it is weak, by the buttons, needs to stop being such an Apple fanboy and open their eyes. Let me stress once more, the bending is always BY THE BUTTONS ON THE SIDE, so it is a weak spot on the phone, and if fixed in later versions (by reinforcing that area possibly), then the 6+ will likely just go out of shape like the others but go back to normal, but no one can be really sure.
  3. Congratulations to you Linus and all the rest of LMG. Your content has been a real joy to watch since I found you 2 years ago, and I'm amazed at how far you've come, having your own LMG HQ, a huge team of dedicated workers, all to produce the highest quality videos you can. Congrats. I found you about 2 and a half years ago when I first got interested in PC gaming. You helped me decide what PC to get (although it was a custom pre-built as I had no idea how to build one), but have also helped me to build my own PC just a few months ago (current one in my sig) through your top quality guides and your activity on twitter, answering my own personal questions whenever I ask. I am so grateful for what you've done and cannot wait to see what happens in the future. You've also managed to stay the only person I've continuously watched on YouTube for over 2 years, where others have lost my interest in only a few weeks. I hope you only get more prosperous in the future and I can't wait to see what it holds. Thanks LMG for all you've done and everything you will do from now on.
  4. Every recent iPhone has only had 1GB of RAM. Even my iPad Air has 1GB of RAM. iOS is optimised much more than Android because there are less than 10 different devices devices running iOS 7, whereas there are hundreds, maybe even a thousand running Android. Therefore Android is much less optimised, so the phones need more powerful quad cores processors at 2GHz+ and iPhones and iPads only need dual cores running at around 1GHz. Stop complaining about only 1GB of RAM, iPhones simply don't need more. Plus this is only a rumour, so it may have 2GB, but it really doesn't need it.
  5. Why are people so worried about the 256-bit bus? If it wasn't enough for the card, then Nvidia wouldn't use it and go for a 384-bit or something. Seriously though, I'm pretty sure Nvidia knows what they are doing and know how to build a Graphics card, so don't try to tell me that you know best.
  6. My view on this is both positive and negative. It's Facebook, so they will influence the direction of VR somewhat, but the extra cash for Oculus can only mean that we, the consumer, will get a better product, faster, and hopefully cheaper, as they can have a smaller margin on it. Also, with Facebook on board, they will push VR and it will become more mainstream and will have more applications. Sure, you may view it as a bad thing for gaming (even though Facebook said they will have little influence on what Oculus do with the Rift and Palmer has said he is still committed to gaming), but for VR, it will make it better in the long run. I have tried the DK1 version of the Rift, and it still has some way to go, but I massively enjoyed my experience and won't boycott Oculus just because Facebook bought them.
  7. I have an iPad Air and I have no complaints about it (apart from the hefty price tag I guess). It's a huge improvement over the previous iPads, mostly in the physical properties, being lighter and thinner, but I'd also recommend the Nexus line. There is rumours of a Nexus 8 coming out soon, and if I were you I'd keep an eye out for that. Nexus devices are as good as the competition and are normally cheaper.
  8. I wouldn't dare spend such a small amount ($30$) on a PSU. Buying a cheap PSU which is not rated can destroy components in your system, costing much more than a decent PSU in the first place.
  9. People say consoles are better for split screen, but when playing split screen, the game lags so much. I was playing Black ops zombies on split screen the other day, and at some points it gets almost unplayable. With a PC, you could hook it up to a TV, plug in two controllers and you'd have nowhere near as much lag.
  10. Bigger batteries are always good news. I'd like to see it as my Nexus 5 battery barely makes it through the day with heavy use. Two day batteries under heavy use would be great. I hope manufacturers don't use 2560x1440 screens because of this because there is just no need for them in a normal sized phone and it wastes battery, reducing the chance of a two day battery.
  11. I'd be a bit nervous with a 10K hard drive, it'd break so much easier with less movement and I'd be worried it would just explode in my system.
  12. Just stop with the huge screens. My 5 inch Nexus 5 is the biggest I can handle (and most people probably). Stop with 5.2 and 5.5 inch screens, they are too big for a phone.
  13. Nor can you spell great without EA. (joking of course)
  14. I wish they would stop releasing so much DLC for this game. I love Payday 2, and I have all the DLC (apart from this one), but releasing a new pack every month for £3.99 is just too much and it's really putting me off it. Just add the content to the game and don't release so much DLC, or at least make it cheaper, say £1.99, as it's only a few new weapons and masks.
  15. 5G still can't reach the peak download speed I got on steam today...
